A KI commercial was on TV today. Its got me excited for opening day.

It has felt like a long off season hasn't it?

And the weather today has me in the perfect mood to see said commercial!

I didn't like the comercial right at the end it showed a roller coaster thats NOT EVEN IN KI! I was like are you kidding me? I can't wait for this season, I think I'll head for Dip'n Dots station first cause I havent had those in a long time!

The weather is beccoming "Coaster Weather" (as I call it) almost every day. I love it!

I havent gotten the chance to see the commercial yet, but knowing Kings Island they'll show it several times.

Thats been happening for a long time. I think two years ago they showed Top Gun from Carowinds in a ad for Kings Island, but while I was at Carowinds they showed SOB in a add for Sarowinds.

This is common practice in park chains. It saves money to use stock footage of various parks throughout the chain. I know Paramount did it, CP does it, and I never see SF ads, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do as well.

I used to always see the Anaconda from KD in KI Commercials.(That's the arrow coaster that goes into an underwater tube.)

My wife asked if that was SOB and I had to explain to her that they like to use rides at other parks in their commercials.

I agree, that always tricks me. I think ...Oh that must be the new ride for this season.

It is an annoying and misleading ad.

I disagree. While it is a change from the old "Best of Hollywood..." commercials, this commercial is more about the aspect of how many great rides their are at the park as to the Hollywood aspect of the park. Paramount took the route of theme while CF took the route or rides.

And I disagree on the disagreement of this disagreeing post.
