3.99 in Athens, Ohio. Has been for the past three weeks. I keep filling up outside of Cincy every time I have to drive to and from here. I have a quarter of a tank and will drive that as far as I can on Thursday night so I don't have to fill up here.

BUT, virtually all of the gasoline in Cinci is reformulated, oxygenated gasoline. It may not go nearly as far as (though it is much cleaner than) the gasoline you purchase in Athens, which is not reformulated and usually not oxygenated. Sometimes, that which appears cheapest is not.

Gas?

What's Gas?

WooferBear ....... Still in Gasless Atlanta ....

I was telling my co-worker about this today. He said his parents in NC are expirencing the same thing.

I was riding the bus and My jaw dropped open.

$3.47 for unleaded at BP on Pfiefer.

I work at the Speedway station in Piqua by I75. We dropped to 3.25 today.

You can find the station prices, both diesel and regular, at any Speedway by going to www.speedway.com and typing in your zip code.. just thought I'd share that.

But only marginally lower, Refinement costs still are high, and crude price comes down disproportionately to Gasoline price.

(If Crude moves to 70, and Gas prices are still at $3.00 look for people to start filing complaints with/on OPEC) Talk about windfall.

We're just happy to have gas at some of our gas stations!

Most of the stations now have at least Regular Unleaded. Almost none have midgrade or premium.

Uh, how does one file complaints with OPEC? Why would a cartel care? It sets prices based on what it thinks it can get. Want to file a complaint with OPEC? Use less oil.

$2, dont hold your breath... I am affraid $2 gas is a thing of the past.

I think BEAST1979 meant $2 and something gas by then...as in under $3.

And I've learned to never predict prices...anything can happen...almost anything. Gas could be a quarter and virtually none of us could afford it. Everything is relative. Gas could also be ten dollars a gallon. Time will tell, and Newsweek will try to tell us why.

As gasoline drops Natural Gas expected to be increasing. Just a reminder heating season is coming up, get those furnaces checked out. (Heatguy who just had to)

Gas..... 3.35 in NKY.= Ridiculous. waiting in line for $3.00 gas........ Priceless.

^Ha, I can see that BP from my office window. I just can't see the sign because the trees are in the way (if that BP is the one right next to 71)!

The same. I see it every day on the bus ride home from school, it seems to consistantly fall 10 cents every 2 or 3 days.

And to think that gas prices are no longer the issue for going to KI, but putting more miles on one's car is!?
