Featured Replies

From a promotional email received today from Cedar Point.

Wow:

Combine Admission And A Meal Back by popular demand! This online-only package includes one admission ticket and a fantastic all-you-can-eat buffet meal for only $45.65. The meal includes fried chicken, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, cookies, ice cream and Pepsi beverages. Buy a ticket & we'll take care of dinner! This ticket & meal package is valid Saturday & Sunday, May 31 & June 1, 2008 only. Meal served from 5 - 6:30 p.m. Ticket valid for one visit to the event session; no re-entry permitted.

EMPHASIS ADDED.

No re-entry???

Wow. Just wow.

I don't think it is sloppy writing at all. It is quite clear.

The statement about no re-admission was written after the time of the event, and in the same sentence as ticket valid for one visit to the event.

Since when is an "event" considered an all day ticket?

Since when is a meal at Cedar Point considered an event?

Terpy, running for the door!

When you have such insurmountable debt?

When it costs the same as a Jimmy Buffet concert ticket.

;)

I'm not really sure how they would be able to tell if you were a ticket holder for that or not. I'm pretty sure they just hand stamp everyone on the way out if they'd like to re enter.

The only thing i can figure out is that they are trying to cut down on people leaving the park to go out and buy food and then come back in the park.

The statement has nothing to do with leaving and re-entering the park.
