Has anyone else seen the new Kings Island commercial? The one where the skateboarders/surfers go to KI and "concur" Firehawk? It kinda seemed like Firehawk was a brand new ride (new for 2008) the way they advertised it. And at the end they say 41/14, which i thought was kinda cool. And they only used one coaster thats not in KI! Overall, it was the best KI commercial ive seen in years, and i give kudos to Kings Island!

And seen the tagline?

Kings Island.

Where else?

Yes, that was in it as always.

Actual they also used a Drop Tower video picture from another park that is not at Kings Island it had a white color with a square look.

I didn't see that, i did see Drop Tower (the one at KI) i could tell it was it by the colors, and it was a gyro Drop Tower.

They used more than a few coasters that were not at KI, in fact they used a lot of coasters that don't even operate any more most notably the Vilain and Raging Wolf Bobs at Geauga Lake. I found it interesting that here in Athens they started showing KI commercials instead of CP ones now.

Does that quote feel really half-assed to anyone else? It just feels like they're saying this is your only option, so too bad.

Actually I don't like it for the exact opposite reason. Makes me think of where else I could spend my discretionary dollar.

I also don't like it....for the reasons both of you have stated. Never in effect dare your customer to consider other options...which that tag line most certainly does.
