The Interpreter Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 That last one sounds like an off brand of flour! Actually, I think I have seen cookies with that brand name!
KIBeast Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Only Queen fans will understand this one: I trust the coaster, if that is what it is, will accommodate fat bottom girls... Fat bottom girls...they make the rockin' world go 'round! Are there any western movies that have kinda generic names that could be used? Like Hang 'Em High? Not necessarily my suggestion, just an example.
Thrill_Biscuit Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Some of my ideas, some also posted in the epic rumor coaster topic: 1. Mustang Valley 2. Rimrock Rampage 3. Rivertown Rampage 4. NightMare 5. Terrainosaurus Rox (my dumbest idea)
Jonathan Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 I even made a "teaser" logo for what I want this to be called:
welchce Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Are there any western movies that have kinda generic names that could be used? Like Hang 'Em High? Not necessarily my suggestion, just an example. Blazing Saddles
MrPostman Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 "That last one sounds like an off brand of flour! Actually, I think I have seen cookies with that brand name" Thunder Valley then, wait that might be a name brand for a laxative. They should name it "Dirty Dozen" but it would HAVE to have 12 inversions
vortexdemon05 Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Here is a cool name they can name it The Steel Roller Coaster (something boring like flight decks name is now) Or the That Coaster in Rivertown.
MrPKI Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 My choice would be "Rawhide". It almost sounds more like a wooden coaster name, but I could definitely see it for this too.
LongliveKingsCobra Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 OH OH OH Steel Coaster 1, or 2 depending on the other names of attractions, and we can drop little men of at the exits that clean up throw up and fix the rides! OH OH and people can jump up and their eyes pop out of there heads when they see the ride intensity!

dare-to-fly Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Rivertown Fury, Kings Valley Splashdown, Beast Valley, and The Beast: Gone Steel all have nice rings to them. Because of what Cedar Fair did to it, I think calling it Villain would be a nice tribute.
crazyforairtime Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 My choice would be "Rawhide". It almost sounds more like a wooden coaster name, but I could definitely see it for this too. I actually like that one
bengalscoaster Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Ok folks, I believe the theme is not going to be western. think about it....when the park put up the sign "ride sally ride" that is only there to throw off everyone and every website that has rumored to be called mustang. Why would they name the ride after a western theme when the entire ride is in the woods? However, there is one sign that gives the clue to the ride name, the sign reads "move slowly, do not disturb." I believe the theme they are working towards is something along the lines of amazon...When I think of an amazon, a certain snake comes to mind. Also, on all the signs read "the park strikes back in 2009" To me this is referring to something coming back to the park....maybe a cobra....but not a king cobra....After doing research, there is a "BOSKOBRA", which means forest cobra....They live in trees, land, and water!! aka the splashdown. It is the largest cobra in Africa and range in color. My guess for the name is BOSKOBRA....or something else in an amazon setting...
yournamehere Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I wouldn't be suprised if they called it Anaconda.(Anaconda at Kings Dominion) That name would go good with the rivertown theme though.
Shaggy Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I believe the theme they are working towards is something along the lines of amazon Seriously... you think they are going to give it an Amazonian theme? That name would go good with the rivertown theme though. Kidding right? Anacondas are located in South America only. Shaggy
The Interpreter Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Well, there is this one in Virginia.... Terpy, who just HAD to...
Shaggy Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Someone must be watching "I survived a Japanese Gameshow."
Tomkatt7 Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Someone must be watching "I survived a Japanese Gameshow." If thats how we're doing it, I suggest Cornilia Marie!!

bsudude84 Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 With the quotes, clues i have seen recently and the recent discussion. I truly belive it will be named Cobra/King Cobra... here is my rationale.... the reference to the name being a Mustang are somewhat deciving b/c... "what is the top of the line mustang called?" Cobra, Shelby Cobra, King Cobra (all depends on what era/decade) those are my thoughts. and why not rename it? it will be fun.
Phantom Theater Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I have a question. Why do people say it cant be named mustang when Maverick is a cigarette and now a coaster to?
The Interpreter Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 ...and, for that matter, the name of Fords in the past here and in Australia:

(H was faster but not by much D could take turns just a hair quicker. More D's were produced than H) ^^People say it can't be named some thing because they do not want it named that. We will see who has bragging rights when it is announced.
