Be careful what you wish for. At Geauga Lake, it quit drawing lines, so Cedar Fair moved it. It's called ride rotation, and was a prime way that the old Time Warner's Six Flags did business...many rides had stays/starts at Great Adventure or Six Flags over Texas, then moved around the chain. Heck, that's what CBS had planned for the Flights of Fear!

and after 4 or 5 years lines will diminish for Firehawk (No, not down to Flight Deck Status, think Vortex normal lines), and they will move it to another park, and I will be Peeved!

I don't know about that. I mean Flight of Fear has been open since 96 and, in my experiences, still has at least a 20-30 minute wait on normal weekdays (whereas Vortex is about 10-15). People seem to love the launch on FoF and I'm guessing love the experience of flying on Firehawk.

o.k. i too was at Kings Island on this day, and when i rode backlot while setting on the final break run the guy running the ride got on the loud speaker and said that ride backlot while you can because it is it's last season. i'm not belieaving this but is it true?

Well your TR sounds encouraging since I'm going on a Thursday.. next Thursday to be exact. (Plans switched from what I was originally gonna do, I'll be there all three days of Spirit Song but would like to make at least one trip pre-SS.) Of course I'm guessing it might be a little more crowded since it's the day before the 4th but it really shouldn't be too bad I wouldn't think. They're calling for showers that day too, in Columbus that is, which doesn't mean it will rain at KI necessarily. Really it's way too early for them to say because they wouldn't know yet. We'll be staying at the Kings Island Resort Thursday night. Would anyone else like to go that day? I can get two tickets for just $50 or four for $100.

There is no way he would know. And I imagine the powers that be would take appropriate action had they heard this comment. It is not exactly the type of uplifting information the park wants out...

You know, on certain days Flight Deck still draws a line. I waited about 20 minutes on my mega huge group outing day. Now, the line was still in the station, but I was shocked to see a line.

I've always found that after people have rushed to Invertigo when the park opens in the morning (after staring at it for 20 mins while walking through the parking lot and entering through the gates) that half of them then head to Drop Tower and the other half head to Flight Deck, making this morning line a little too long for my tastes and compared to later on in the day...

see the only reason that i'm not believing this is because that they are building the new coaster. and i don't see them both building a roller coaster and tearing one out.

Yeah but the weird thing was that this happened at around 6 in the evening. On that day, AE had quite a line going as well.
