TH13TEEN
It is a great park. I have bad knees so I am not alowed to ride Vortex, but Flight Deck is so much fun. I think you will love it. I also love Drop Tower it is a blast. The flowers and everything are beautiful. When I went FireFall was not open but I have herd it is a blast. My family lives in California so I have also been to Knott's they are are both beautiful parks, but Knott's takes the cake. If you are also heading down south just PM me. tigellinus
^^Knott's is too small!!!! Count me as someone who finds it a little creepy that I can walk from one side to the other in just 4 minutes!! At, KI (or CP, etc.) the walking is great exercise and part of the experience!! And besides....just down the street is the best theme park in the world!! (no, NOT DCA!! LOL....) The Interpreter
And that is a very rosy predicted travel time, assuming no backed up traffic or accidents, which, I can tell you, is very unrealistic. Demon is a fantastic ride at California's Great America...but if I had only one day to spend in a park in Northern California, I'd spend it at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, one of my favorite parks anywhere, with its fantastic atmosphere, great Giant Dipper coaster and ocean side setting. My second choice would be Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo....with California's Great America being a distant third choice. Either of the first two choices are within an easy hour's drive of San Fran...
