I'm kind of stunned right now...finally...real details....3 loops!?

Remember who wrote the article....think of them looking at a drawing on paper. Is a helix a loop?

On Mindbender at SFOG they classify it having three loops because of it's 'helix'.

Well, I kind of hope that it doesn't have inversions because I've never been on a true hyper...except for Magnum. But they say it will look similar to griffon to the GP so immelmans maybe? But then again, it is no longer classified as a hyper if it has inversions so never mind...they must mean helices in the article. Plus if you think about it, the true name for a loop is a "vertical" loop...so these may very well be helices.

Well, we were just talking about permits today.

Good on the Oxford press for breaking this.

Actually some good investigative journalism.

Makes you think if they came on here and took browns idea! lol

..quoting the blueprints....

Your turn...

as they said 3 loop's and a water feature, makes you think of a dive machine....but then again they did say 8 cars holding a total 32 ppl. but then again they coulda made a mistake since you can have a diver with 4 rows of 8. I really wanna say its a diver but the article says other wise.

I don't think there's any rule that a hyper coaster cannot have inversions. I am inclined to think perhaps there are loops on the coaster since there are 8 rows 4 across. I am just basing this upon Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure which has no inversions and has 9 rows of 4 across. I am just guessing.

It just depends on how you think about it.

you could have

4 rows , 8 across

8 rows , 4 across

32 rows , 2 across
