yournamehere
I have been on both TOGO and B&M standups. What do you perfer.(yes I know togo is no longer a company) If you dont know if you have been on a TOGO an example would be King Cobra which was removed from Kings Island, or Shockwave at Kings Dominion. welchce
I have only been on one of either: King Cobra and Mantis. King Cobra holds a special place in my heart since it was my first looping coaster (being as it was at the front of the park). Mantis, however, hurt a little more since I was more, shall I say... "developed" when I rode it.
flightoffear1996
This is an easy one. B&M stand ups. May more invovative and a trick track on King Cobra was just a bad idea.

"developed" when I rode it. I'm in almost the exact same position. KC was my first looping coaster, which I rode with my mom, so that along with the memories of that day will forever be with me. I didn't really experience any pain from Mantis so I can't complain at all. In fact, it's one of my favorites. I definitely have to conclude B&M's. They're innovation and four across seating makes their standups more fun.
The Interpreter
Seating? On a Stand-Up? Who knew?
Gordon Bombay
Togo. My rides on King Cobra when it was still around trump my rides on Mantis at CP and Vortex at Carowinds which are good coasters, but not as good as KC was. -Gordon who will be riding the togo at wonderland and the B&M at kentucky kingdom soon. Browntggrr
Mantis is really one of the worst B & M's. Now with Georgia Scorcher; Togo won't even be thought of.
The Interpreter
Georgia Scorcher IS my favorite B & M stand-up, but I still prefer SkyRider at Wonderland to it (and King Cobra at Kings Island to either...)
iChase
Seating? On a Stand-Up? Who knew? Doh. Four across....standing.
CoastersNSich
I've done 2 TOGOs: King Cobra and Shockwave, and 3 B&M's: Mantis, Chang, and Iron Wolf. B&M has the edge, IMO, but Cobra was great.
The Interpreter
Iron Wolf most definitely goes into that special category in my book called "Coasters I only ride once a season, if even that." Others include Ninja at SFOG, Ninja at SFOG and Ninja at SFOG. The only category worse is "Coasters I never need to ride again but are still operating." In that category I put The Roller Coaster At New York, New York Casino (formerly Manhattan Express) and any Zamperla flying coaster.
iChase
I've done 2 TOGOs. Did it hurt? ...I'm sorry! I couldn't resist.
The Interpreter
I've been trying to be good. I really, really have. TOGO's has great sandwiches! Honest: http://www.togos.com/

BavarianBeatle
I fall into the category of those who have only ridden KC and Mantis. Mantis is trimmed to the point that it is not as fun as KC was. Almost as bad as Mean Streak, IMO.....
Cormaster
B&M Definitly. I'll take Chang over King Cobra anyday!
