FOFreak
Is it just me or did the area of the concrete (used to be) square where the station will be get bigger?
cisco227
Also, is that unpainted track at Clermont Steel for Diamondback? http://www.KICentral.com/photos/albums/use...v7and8_0027.jpg Some of those pieces may be for DB, but it seems to me that some of those pieces are for an inversion of somesort, which would have to be for different coaster. Don't forget about Manta! The inversion could be for the pretzel loop, if that's what track pieces those are for. Good point! I hadn't thought about that. Go Browns
Probably not the pretzel loop, looks like that will be erected in the next few days. So maybe another part of manta or another unkown ride...who knows
Beast1979
Right on time, they are getting ready to lift the drop track.
cisco227
Why is Clifford's arm on the ground?
firehawkboy
^I'm guessing they are doing some adjustments to him. They did that right when they were putting the supports up as well.
cisco227
Oh ok. I must not have seen when they were doing that before. Thanks. EDIT: Clifford's back up now anyways. lol
RailRider
Big section of drop track is currently being installed. Looks like they are working from the bottom up. Hard to tell from the cam angle, but it looks very steep.
CoastersRZ
The next piece of drop track is currently being lifted by "Clifford."
Tchu
Looks like we could see completion of the first drop before the day is out (it'll at least be most of the way there). Should make for an awesome next update from Mr. Helbig and the KICentral staff. Plus, one good side-profile picture after completion of the drop should finally be able to put to rest any questions/concerns some may have about just how tall/steep the first drop will be when all is said and done. CoastersRZ
Do people not believe the published stats for this ride? Its not like they are going to be altered from already published information.
RailRider
Yes there are some that disbelieve the published stats for the ride just like there are some that still think Vortex is sinking. StalkerChick
Is the webcam not working for anyone else or is it just me? i get the pretty page break icon inthe upper left corner
Tchu
I heard that Vortex was sinking into itself, but I may be crazy as a Bat. Meanwhile, I suspect that Diamondback will be just as advertised, and that's something I'm very much looking forward to in 09.

Gordon Bombay
Will they get rid of the little road after its built or will that stay there?the road The road will stay.
RailRider
Well once they finish the drop I would imagine Casper will pack up and leave while Clifford rolls towards the 2nd hill and finish it. Not to mention that work on the station will continue, supports will continue to be erected around the mcbr and hammerhead and they will probably poor the remaining footers for the helix in front of The Beast.
