BoddaH1994 Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Everyone?s been watching world records happen at KI this year. On Sept. 20, visitors to KI can be part of a world record by participating in the longest line dance with four members of the Rocketts. Registration will take place at the park that day. Open to anyone that wants to be part of history and in the Guinness Book of World Records. Quote
Kawana Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I'll be there that day and hopefully I'll be kicking with the Rockettes. Should be interesting. Quote

If not I am just amazed at the events KI keeps doing this year, yes it is a little gimmickee but what better way to get the park in the national media than by setting a world record. Great way to get some amazing free national attention and at the same time they can mention HH and Diamondback for next year. Quote
XGatorHead 8904 Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Is that a country line dance... or a conga line dance... or given the Rockettes will be there, a kick line? Quote
pkiboy Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 They can sing this to the line dance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFzkzsCQhdw&feature=user . Quote

I love it, its kind of a weird and funny/random thing, but seems like it would be fun. I was worried about how well the Brady Bunch shows would go over, yet every time there was a packed house and the shows were great. The park has done a lot of great things this year that I think are bringing back the whole unique identity Kings Island once had. Quote
standbyme Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Instead of having everyone sign up, wouldn't it just be easier to just wait until Halloween Haunt and have everyone in the "conga line" known as Trail of Terror just line dance their way through it instead?! Quote
marlfox_21 Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 It sounds like someone has watched Alan Jackson's music video to the song "GoodTimes" one time too many. In the video, Alan is attempting to create the world's longest linedance. But hey it sounds like a Good Time anyway. Enjoy. Quote
fanofki Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Anyone know how many people they need to break the world record? Quote

Guest TombraiderTy Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 About the text message alert used to announce this, I thought it was said that KIC would not send any messages during the school day. I got mine in Geometry Quote

I got mine in Geometry Although KIC is sometimes updated in the middle of the night, I assure you that you will only receive alerts during daytime hours. Quote
RailRider Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Maybe you should put your phone on vibrate or silent while in class. Hey heres a better idea, turn it off. Anyone want to take responsibility for their actions or just blame other people? Quote
