Yeah, our first rehearsals are tonight, but I cannot, for the life of me, understand why the park is open tonight for only five hours to the public. Unless it's a test run for the lighting and sound effects for the park in terms of the Haunt, then what's the point of them to open tonight?

Of course this may have been the original date for Pride Night as it has been in years past (the Friday before the Haunt starts up).

Why is the park open to the public ever? That's the same reason it is open to the public tonight....anything from providing fun and amusement to the public to generating revenue (and hopefully even net profits..or at least EBITDA, tee hee) from which to pay creditors, unit holders, vendors and yes, even employees.

^^Giga said she had to work most of all day tomorrow.

I am planning to finally get to Indiana Beach to check out Steel Hawg...pathetic I haven't already since I live in Indy! However, at the moment I'm feeling a little sick from a super greasy Five Guys burger meal (I guess that's what happens when you usually eat mostly healthy stuff) :(:( So if I don't start feeling better, like, NOW!! I'll have to shelve that idea and probably detail my car and watch the Cubs clinch the NL Central tomorrow!! :D

I was there on the 19th and as other's have said it was basically empty. I entered the park right about 5 and I walked through NickU to the construction by myself with just the employees looking at me. I only had my iPhone with me but I tried to get some good pictures. I also go 5 rides in a row on The Beast without leaving my seat. As always, Captain Nemo was keeping The Beast running strong.

The longest wait was for Firehawk- 25 minutes. And they were only running one train, which was the reason why. Everything else no wait- only three people besides me were on Son of Beast :D
