BavarianBeatle
Well, it's been quite a week! No power for two plus days, trying to catch up with the housework, working, doing schoolwork with my kids... A stressful week!! What better escape from all of that than an evening at KI tomorrow night?!?!?

Mr. Christopher
The park isn't open tonight or saturday night for the public. Just haunt workers. Wrong. It is open to the public. Sunday, the 21st is closed for a private event.

gigacoaster2k
I haven't been to KI since August 9. I'd go, but I work tonight and tomorrow night until 11 pm. I am having really bad Drop Tower withdrawals. Thankfully, my addiction will be fed once again September 27. That drop is a candy coated adrenaline rush that I can't wait to taste again. RingMaster
Yeah, our first rehearsals are tonight, but I cannot, for the life of me, understand why the park is open tonight for only five hours to the public. Unless it's a test run for the lighting and sound effects for the park in terms of the Haunt, then what's the point of them to open tonight? Of course this may have been the original date for Pride Night as it has been in years past (the Friday before the Haunt starts up).

The Interpreter
Yeah, our first rehearsals are tonight, but I cannot, for the life of me, understand why the park is open tonight for only five hours to the public. ... Why is the park open to the public ever? That's the same reason it is open to the public tonight....anything from providing fun and amusement to the public to generating revenue (and hopefully even net profits..or at least EBITDA, tee hee) from which to pay creditors, unit holders, vendors and yes, even employees. Justin_M17
I'm going to the Edgewood Vs. [insert random school I don't care about] game tonight, but I'll be at KI on Saturday from open to close
BavarianBeatle
Just got back from the park. The place was as empty as I've ever seen and the weather was beautiful. Virtually everything we rode was a walk on. And being at the park after this week was as great as I expected. The kids had a ball too. gigacoaster2k
^^What?? And BLSC or AE aren't enough of a fix for ya?! I actually like BLSC, it's fun. Lots of elements packed into one ride. At KI, Drop Tower is my favorite among Beast, Flight of Fear, Invertigo, and Delirium.

tigellinus
^^Giga said she had to work most of all day tomorrow. I am planning to finally get to Indiana Beach to check out Steel Hawg...pathetic I haven't already since I live in Indy! However, at the moment I'm feeling a little sick from a super greasy Five Guys burger meal (I guess that's what happens when you usually eat mostly healthy stuff) So if I don't start feeling better, like, NOW!! I'll have to shelve that idea and probably detail my car and watch the Cubs clinch the NL Central tomorrow!!
welchce
I was there on the 19th and as other's have said it was basically empty. I entered the park right about 5 and I walked through NickU to the construction by myself with just the employees looking at me. I only had my iPhone with me but I tried to get some good pictures. I also go 5 rides in a row on The Beast without leaving my seat. As always, Captain Nemo was keeping The Beast running strong. Guest TombraiderTy
The longest wait was for Firehawk- 25 minutes. And they were only running one train, which was the reason why. Everything else no wait- only three people besides me were on Son of Beast
The Interpreter
... Everything else no wait- only three people besides me were on Son of Beast Gee, what a surprise. Was it worth the wait? Terpy, who just HAD to (and who wouldn't ride Ninja again at SFOG if the wait time were a negative hour and a half)
Guest TombraiderTy
Well it was luck. But that train was stuck in the station five minutes as they tried to get a fat person on. The next train was filled
BavarianBeatle
The weather wasn't hot, which meant that SoB was fine last night. And an attractive woman spoke to me in line (a rare event)... LOL!!!!
