Diamondback is kind of like a child. We saw it in the topic of Rumor Coaster, not yet a baby just an embryo, then came the announcement day when baby Diamondback was birthed into the world of Kings Island. Then the first track piece went up and it took its first steps. We saw it grow from a toddler to an adult and take full form. Now pretty soon we will see Diamondback in all its fury atop the Kings Island food chain. Immaculate pictures. Thank You!

Given that the average income in this country doesn't even approach that for 18 years, I have no idea where that figure could have come from. Though from five years ago, this says just over a quarter million per child:

And even that is based on some fairly questionable assumptions...

The default here is less than $200,000 and the result can be customized:

I just got the e-mailer from KI and it gives MUCH love to some particular website...

One of the top amusement and theme park fan sites in the world - KICentral.com - will have its inaugural Winter Blues event Saturday, January 31 at Kings Island.

During the event, KIC members will take a tour of Great Wolf Lodge and hear from guest speakers including Don Helbig and Nick Licastro from Kings Island and the site’s own Robbie Zerhusen, who will give a presentation on the transition in 1971 from Coney Island to Kings Island.

The highlight of the event will be a construction tour of the new Diamondback roller coaster.

KICentral has more than 3,000 registered members and has been referenced and featured in numerous newspapers, television and radio stories about Kings Island and the amusement/theme park industry. The site attracts thousands of visitors daily.
