Winter Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Can you take baby strollers on the train that goes from the rides to the water park? Quote
RailRider Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Yes either put in the back row of a car or you can fold it up. Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Can you take baby strollers on the train that goes from the rides to the water park? I think I have seen people fold them up and place them in the bigger sections near the front and back of a car. I have never done it though. Quote
standbyme Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Or you can leave it intact, baby and all and roll it up the handicapped ramp...we have done this a few times with a sleeping baby. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Yep. The car with handicapped access is typically the last car on the train. The reason for that, is it is closest to the handicapped entrance to the Rivertown train station. Quote
Avatar Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Also keep in mind it is quicker to walk to Boomerang Bay unless you so happen to get to the Kings Island Miami Valley Railroad as a train is pulling in. this is especially true if they are only running one train. If you are doing it because you want to ride the train then the advice above is correct. Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Kings Island has a water park? Terpy, running for the exit...stage left (which HB character was famous for saying that? ) Quote
standbyme Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Terpy, running for the exit...stage left (which HB character was famous for saying that? ) Is this a date yourself quiz...if so I will...Snaglepuss. Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Right, Snagglepuss. Also a Rush album, and I do not mean Mr. Limbaugh. Quote
trevor75 Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Right, Snagglepuss. Also a Rush album, and I do not mean Mr. Limbaugh. Heavens to Murgatroyd! I did not expect to see a Rush Limbaugh reverence in here! Quote
TrainedBeast Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Most of the above is correct~ There are two stroller compartments, one near the front and one near the rear of the cars and the wheelchair ramp. What kind of stroller do you have? If it's just the small single, you can fold it up and take it into the bench with you. If it's a double or a larger single, Try the stroller compartments and use the wheelchair ramp as a last resort.. Since it is... well.. A Wheelchair ramp. And one more thing~ it makes it easier if you enter through the exit near the mini photobooth. That way you aren't dealing with the turnstiles in the station. There should be (SHOULD BE, not sure yet) Two trains running soon, we'll see... Quote
