Water rides on opening day?

Featured Replies

This may be a stupid question but i've never been to the park on opening day before so I don't know. I know that Boomerang Bay probably won't open until later in the year, but will Congo Falls and WWC be open tomorrow? It'd be nice to know whether or not I should pack a change of clothes for these rides ^^

That's something that you may have to find out on Saturday morning. I know in the past all of the dry park water rides had opened with the park except WWC.

Yeah thats the concensus but from personal experience drastic changes in body temperature rapidly stress the immune system which is not a healthy practice.

In my years at the park, young kids do not care how cold it is when it comes to water rides or Boomerang Bay. One weekend working BB wh"en it was cold, I saw a kid just enjoying himself in the water while the life guard, wearing a coat out side the water must had been thinking, "Don't even make me go in there after you! "

I think that Congo Falls and Thornberries will be open, WWC is doubtful I'd say.

I went during the last weekends of the haunt and Wild Thornberries was open. That's all i know

^ hopefully they dont turn on the elephant

I was there today, to get my pass, and they said on the sign WWC, Congo Falls, Action Theater and Scrambler were all closed.

Isn't getting wet the whole point of a water ride?

Yes and it is fun as hell watching the people that for some reason don't know it is there.
