So for all of you lucky enthusiasts like myself, that have ridden Diamondback in the day and night. Which did you like best?

I would have to say night. It is an awesome feeling back at the hammerhead. Also you might get stuck on the lift like I did. Lol

I rode it last night as the fireworks were going off, that was crazy awesome. It's amazing during the day, but it looks so ghostly and ominous at night as you crest the hill and see the track partially hidden in the woods.

Plus if you look straight down over the edge of the train as you go down the first drop, it feels like a free fall.

I will have to go with night, very different at night.

^^ I always lean over the first drop. It feels like your flying! Its amazing.. but my vote definitely went for night ride. Completely different ride experience!

Night ride 100%. I love that they don't have any lighting in the back section of the track. And a little off-topic, but on Millennium Force, I like to look way out into the Sandusky Bay and stare at a buoy, and it seriously feels like a free fall going down that drop. Amazing.

Night, hands down. It's dark back behind the Crypt and it's almost like your seat falls out from under you. Reminds me of the Voyage.

Night! I had my first night rides on Friday and coming down the second hill into the little ravine is amazing!. You have no idea when the drop will end.

Actaly in the two Saturdays DB has been open, I have been on the last train of the night in the last seat.

I would have to say a... night ride. Once you go down the first drop, there is no light until the final helix. It was amazing out behind the Crypt. After the second drop as you make the slight turn was really cool because you could see the outline of the supports and I had my hands up and I thought my hand were going to get smashed. A night ride on Diamondback almost rivaled a night ride on The Beast, but The Beast wins by a mile, or should I was about 2,118 feet .

By that standard, which I don't necessarily subscribe to, Nitro wins by 112 feet over that new glorious thing in Ohio...

In your opinion, which one wins, Nitro or Diamondback. But seriously, The Beast wins hands down for best night ride at KI.

I am both too diplomatic to make that judgment and am lacking in at least some of the necessary data at the moment. Put another way, I don't publicly compare world class coasters that belong to different chains, for many, many reasons. Others can do that, I won't be...

Both are pure amazing, but Night ride... Wow, Best thing anyone can experience. Better than Beast night ride...!

Yep! But after my last visit I decided to give Beast another try, and boy oh boy do I love it! Almost as good as SOB! You just can't beet that Double Helix now!

This is exactly why I drive to the park by myself and meet up with others there. That way if anyone wants to cut out early, I can stay and do whatever I want.

I hang out with mostly people who are younger than me and i'm really the only one with my license (And i've only had it since the 11th, LOL) so that's not an option for me But I will stay for a nighttime ride next time I go out there.
