Night. On a hot summer day. That way it's a cool ride at night, it's all warmed up, and it's night time. Perfect.

I have lost count of how many rides on Diamondback I have had, I would guess around 30. Only one of those rides were a night ride. First off I must say I am a huge fan of night rides on The Beast. There is nothing better than the natural dark in the middle of the woods, screaming on a coaster where no one else can hear you. Diamondback, while a different night ride experience than The Beast, has quickly become one of my favorite rides at night. Going down the first hill I was barely able to make out where the track was heading, it almost seemed as if we were going straight into the Rivertown midway. I just could not see where I was going or heading. Going into the second drop was a much more intense thrill than the first. At that point I could not see a thing. It is a complete different expirience than during the day. So, I voted for Diamondback during the night.

Diamondback is the best coaster in the world and is amazing at night, but nothing can beat a night ride on The Beast. Nothing.

I love riding Diamondback in the dark. I've rode it twice in the dark so far and you cant really see where your going but The Beast is still the best night ride.

Night is sooooo amazing. Definately night. Although, a ride on Diamondback is a ride on Diamondback.

23 of my 51 Rides on Diamondback have been at night. It's amazing always, but better at night! I can't wait to see it during Haunt at night.

haha mr. of course u would make this one. I hav found that if u are going to ride in the very front or the very back, the night ride is better. But, if u r going to sit anywhre else, the daytime rides r just as good. Diamondback is a great ride as u know....cuz u wuld like dump ur gf for it...hahahajkjk

After numerous night and daytime rides, I have to say that (The) Diamondback is an anytime ride.

I got to say night becasue you cant see out in the woods at night when its dark.

I am both too diplomatic to make that judgment and am lacking in at least some of the necessary data at the moment. Put another way, I don't publicly compare world class coasters that belong to different chains, for many, many reasons. Others can do that, I won't be...

Both are pure amazing, but Night ride... Wow, Best thing anyone can experience. Better than Beast night ride...!

I have yet to ride a coaster that is not better at night, even indoor rides become better (no idea why but they do.)

That said, some benefit from the night more then others. At the very top of this jump in greatness is The Beast and Big Bad Wolf (RIP ) but Diamondback is not far behind, due to its wooden local, lack of lights and awesome view of the park from the MCBR.
