Coaster Kid Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 If you ride the Fairy Odd Coaster you can notice that the trains faces are now gone and that they are leting Avatars picure peel off.

I have been wondering, is it made up of two or more pieces? Ah, oh well i guess, as far as i know the ride runs great, its just the asthetics that are getting a little crusty.
HTCO Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Nicelodeon will more and likely change to the penauts characters. It seems more reasonable to see Peanuts characters than HB characters. Considering CF already has a contract with who ever owns the Peanuts characters. Just my thoughts.
jondrewfoo Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 ugh. noone really knows anything other than most likely nick will be gone. just because Cedar Fair has a contract with peanuts for Cedar Point does not mean it has the same contract for Kings Island or any other park. i personally want it to be hannah barbera land, but it really doesnt bother me too much and doesnt have any bearing on what Cedar Fair will decide...

Lets imagine that the Avatar figure were to fall off the ride, that would cause serious damage to the ride and harm to the riders and onlookers. I think it is safe to assume that Avatar never fell off. If he had he would not be put back on. Come on, think before you post.

No it doesn't matter how many posts you have, but it does help develop a track record. Newer members with few posts can ill-afford to make worthless, senseless posts that do not add to discussions and that are only good for adding to their overall number of posts. Beast1979, would be the first to admit that early on he had those issues, but with some tough love on the boards he figured it out and figured it out quite well. So dont make nosensical posts and get upset when someone calls you on it. Jackson will agree, I will typically call you out first, but he beat me today...
emichan Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Hm...While I would hate to see some of the nick theming go...Especially the wild thornberry's river adventure because in my opinion that was done very nicely...I could see how they could incorperate peanuts into the childrens area if need be...The avatar ride could become something themed closely to the World War I flying ace, for example...all they would have to do is paint it red and replace Aang with Snoopy flying his doghouse...maybe... (I just hope that if Cartoon network buys them out instead they'll stick to classic cartoon network...not this nonsense they've been making. I can see it now...the Phantom Flyers becoming "The Othersider-mobiles"...ugh)
