Last year was our first visit to KI's Halloween event (we typically head up the road to CP for Halloweekends) and we are absolutely blown away at how much better it was...so much that we have saved our only amusement park visit this year, after a year of a new job and relocation, to be one of the Halloween dates at KI.

It may be early to ask, but our schedule is tight and we need to plan...does anyone know what weekend it will begin this year? Any new editions to the lineup?

I'm 32, and I feel like a 7 year-old counting down the days until x-mas. Only now instead of opening up Omega Supreme I get to ride Diamondback in the dark through some fog

On that front, I remember Massacre Manor's front being up all year last year, and this year it isnt. Perhaps its a sign that that house is being redone this year?

Saying they kept all the scare-zones from last year, one could assume CornSTALKERS will be from International Street to Rivertown, The Worksite will be near Timberwolf, and Cemetery Drive (or a similar replacement) will remain in the former Paramount Story.

Does KI run Haunt on buyout days?

Saying that there is a new haunt this year. All they announced was Red Beard's Revenge's relocation, which was announced back at the end of January. Keep in mind, that was still about eight months before the actual event- it may change, if it hasn't already, by then. I remember at the same event, it was announced a new show called "Turn It Up" would premiere this year, which I assume was Don't Stop the Music under a different name.

Okay, because I'll be at the buyout that day. To stay for Haunt we pay 10 dollars a person. Or at least that's what I was just told by my dad.

^Glad I knew that one, so much for hoping this would be a non crowded Saturday. That is the only weekend I can go to KI for the Haunt (due to football games and going to CP the other weeks ) so it looks like my plan to go on Friday, go to an enthusiast event on Saturday at Holiday World, and then "mop up ride/last ride of the season victory lap" on Sunday was the correct choice. Ill gladly pay for one extra night in a hotel knowing that one.

I know that at Canada's Wonderland last week the big sign along the 400 said "now hiring monsters". My wife didn't understand till I explained it was for the haunt. With this in mind, I would contact the park now.

I think it is usually some time in August, but I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure .

I can't wait until haunt this year. Last year I went with my friends and they would never would stand in line for anything so we walked around for hours all we rode is Vortex twice, The Zephyr about a dozen times, Urgent scare and Cornstalkers.

I know how you feel. Every time I go with my friends they do the same thing. They never want to wait in line. Yet again, they called me crazy for waiting 5 hours opening day for Firehawk.

Maybe it TombStone Terror being taken out becuase of it being right next to DimondBack in the woods.

That's not true. KI will start taking applications for Haunt soon, most likely in August. Keep an eye on their website (and probably here) for details.
