Guest rcfreak339
What coasters do you think have the best color scheme? I like Mantis;s colors but I think Iron Dragons color scheme is the best. I just think orange and reds fit so well. What do you think?
The Interpreter
I think yellow print is very hard to read on a computer monitor! Actually, I still miss Joker's Revenge, tee hee: http://www.rcdb.com/ig206.htm?picture=1 One of the very few outdoor coasters ever painted pink on purpose! See also Canyon Blaster at Circus Circus, though it is more of a mauve and indoors: http://www.rcdb.com/ig104.htm?picture=9 Just not colors you expect to find on a roller coaster! violakat03
Flight Deck, for sure! I mean, who doesn't love grey peeling to reveal faded red?! Honestly though, I like Alpengeist. I think it really works well with the "runaway ski lift" theme. http://www.rcdb.com/ig277.htm?picture=2 I'm also a fan of Dragster's scheme. http://www.rcdb.com/ig1896.htm?picture=
AgentSoB
I agree I think that Mantis has a really great color scheme... I also have to rank Vortex up there, orange and blue complement each other well. Edit* I forgot Montu that is a nicely painted scheme as well... The Heiroglyphics on the Egypt themed walls are nice as well. http://www.rcdb.com/ig87.htm?picture=16 Here is the queue http://www.rcdb.com/ig87.htm?picture=
Guest rcfreak339
I also like Six Flags Over Georgia's Goliath orange and blue scheme. http://www.rcdb.com/ig3290.htm?picture=
Monroe
Well no one said it had to be steal so.... This one just because I was impressed with the up keep of it (Unlike other coasters in the Pacific rim). Also it is pure white, kind of like a bride. http://www.rcdb.com/ig1174.htm?picture=2 Then there is: http://www.rcdb.com/ig67.htm?picture=1 and http://www.rcdb.com/ig584.htm?picture=5 oh and don't forget: http://www.rcdb.com/ig72.htm?picture=1 (I liked it better yellow)
violakat03
I like Georgia Scorcher's scheme too. Fits the 'scorcher' theme nicely. http://www.rcdb.com/ig556.htm?picture=
Go Browns
Ugh maybe its because I grew up going to CP and was used to the original color scheme but Iron Dragon's orange makes me want to vomit when I see it. It's my opinion that the gray looked classier and was so much more easy on the eyes but to each there own. My favorite has to be Expedition GeForce. You gotta love a coaster that shares the same beautiful orange and brown color scheme as my favorite football team. I also have to agree with Violakat03 that Alpengiest's color and theme are one of my favorites.

violakat03
^ I think he means coasters that have faded to pink. Such as Invertigo which is looking very pink.
TTD-120-420
I like Griffon's bright blue. http://rcdb.com/ig3631.htm?picture=43 My favorite has to go to Fahrenheit: http://rcdb.com/ig4049.htm?picture=17 Wait I take that back... I like Raptor's seagull poop color....

jonnyvelvet
No one has said the Blue Streak. This one has two classic shades of blue right by the lake!! =) http://rcdb.com/ig12.htm?picture=
TTD-120-420
I think Disney should make a glow in the dark coaster.

Jasper
I have always been a fan of Vortex's blue and orange theme, I liked it so much that when I first got my braces my bands were blue and orange. If I had to pick one coaster though it would probably be Batman And Robin:The Chiller, er was.
Gabe
I've always liked Dueling Dragon's color scheme at IOA.

DeLorean Rider
I think Disney should make a glow in the dark coaster. The stripes on the side of Space Mountain glow in the dark.

Tom76257
I'm REALLY surprised that no one has said The Racer in its early years. *Hopes for a paint job for the 40th anniversary.* SO cool! Check out the blue handrails and red track in the second picture. http://rcdb.com/ig69.htm?picture=1 http://rcdb.com/ig69.htm?picture=5 I like Raptor both with silver and green rails. http://rcdb.com/ig1.htm?picture=7 http://rcdb.com/ig1.htm?picture=14 Medusa at Six Flags Great Adventure looked good until they painted it blue and purple and renamed it Bizarro. http://rcdb.com/ig502.htm?picture=9 I'm also a fan of Apollo's Chariot's colors for some reason. http://rcdb.com/ig531.htm?picture=2 I also second Mantis, Dragster, and Iron Dragon's color schemes. TTD-120-420
Whats up with everybody liking purple?
Tom76257
I really only like purple when it's complemented by another color. If it's by itself or with another color that makes it look bad (See both Bizarro coasters.) then I 'm not really a fan of it.
violakat03
Purple is my absolute favorite color. I even have a bright purple car. But Bizarro's paint scheme is awful. The two colors don't go well together and the entire station looks like someone dumped a barrel of purple paint on it. It's so think and in such big amounts that it's just disgusting. And it's not even a pretty color of purple like Apollo's is.
gigacoaster2k
Can't say I've been on many coasters. But I do like Magnum XL-200's colors. The track appears red from a distance, but when you get up close and actually study the track color, it is indeed molly orange.
