lance99 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 for a platinum pass to all the CF parks as I may go to school in the fall Quote
jondrewfoo Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 depends. it pays for itself when you visit about 3 parks once. between the free parking, ert, and the other random deals (meal deals, merchandise discounts, etc.) it all just depends on how often you go. its not worth it if you only visit once, or only visit one park. if you just go to Kings Island, a gold pass for next year, or a regular pass for this year would do you fine. same with any other park. it all just depends on you. The Interpreter Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Do not assume that next year's pass program will be the same as it was this year. It may be. It may not. Quote
HandsUp Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 It's been great for my wife and I. I've been to KI about once a week so far this year, and to Carowinds and Cedar Point as well. Quote
violakat03 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 It's worth it if you can make it worth it. I've been to Cedar Point 6 times, Kings Dominion 3 times, and once each to Michigan's Adventure and Worlds of Fun. It's been very much worth it to my husband and I to have the freedom to go "let's go to Cedar Point" and know we don't have to worry about admission and parking. The ERTs are a nice bonus too! Quote
KI FANATIC 37 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I have a god pass, its great for me cause I go to KI a lot! But if you go to Carowinds, KD,KI,CP you should get a platinum Quote
mtl2013 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 If you have the means to get to the other parks, and do that a lot, then the platinum is definately worth it. But, if you are like me, a kid who cant drive and lives really close to KI, then you probably shouldnt. The most I hav ever been to Cedar Point in one year is twice. But, that was only once. I do end up going to KI though, like all the time! Quote

Kat you are 1000% right. After 7 trips to CP (Sorry Kat) 2 to Worlds of Fun 1 to Vallyfair and 1 to Dorney Park and a boat load to KI its woth my 130 bucks. It's also worth it if you have a Six Flags season pass reason is I am a park hopper so I park hop all the time. Quote

But if you go to Carowinds, KD,KI,CP you should get a platinum How much did you have to pay for the god pass, and what additional benefits does it have over the platinum pass? Does it give you the power to be omnipresent and ride all the rides at the same time? Gator, just havin' fun... Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Can you still upgrade from Gold to Platium. Im going to CP next weekend for three days. Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I think you can, but I'm not sure. You could call the park at (800) 288-0808. Quote
McSalsa Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I have a god pass, its great for me cause I go to KI a lot! Does it give you the power to be omnipresent and ride all the rides at the same time? Gator, just havin' fun... God Passes cost $300 trillion, yes you can be omnipresent and ride rides, you can also be funny and make rides and stuff fly around in the sky if you wish. Remember that day everything at KI was floating in the sky, spinning around in a giant invisible Tornado? Someone had a God Pass that day. And they seriously messed up putting everything back in the correct location, because Diamondback ended up sideways in Action Zone and Vortex was in a lake 32 miles away. LOLOLOLOLOLOL However, if you have a Platinum Pass, God Passes are only $150 trillion to upgrade. McSalsa, also havin' fun. Quote
skaterboy22101 Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 for a platinum pass to all the CF parks as I may go to school in the fall You work at the park. You get into all CF parks for free with your employee ID. Quote

gigacoaster2k Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I've been to Kings Island 17 times this year, and Cedar Point 5 times (actually, 7 days!), and I ain't done yet! I cherish my platinum pass. Quote

violakat03 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 for a platinum pass to all the CF parks as I may go to school in the fall You work at the park. You get into all CF parks for free with your employee ID. I think he meant if he no longer works at the park. By the fact he said he may be going to school, I'd assume he meant he'd be quitting his job and thus need a way to get into the parks. If you can get a platinum pass for 2010 and use it for the rest of 2009 it'd be worth it. I wouldn't buy a 2009 platinum pass at this point as it's too late in the year, unless you are going to be visiting parks a whole lot by the end of the season. Quote
