CedarPointer
I find it interesting that they use Blogspot and not their own site like CP and WoF.
kjkjkj
Hmmmm that's strange. On the "bio" on the Twitter page, it says "two completely new haunts" I thought there was only one? Oh and it mentions Slaughter House on the blog and tickets page, so we can FINALLY talk about it! edit: are they not doing a normal website this year for Haunt? AgentSoB
I think they are counting the Redbeard's Revenge re-do as a new attraction. When I was casted for it the person said it was new for this year... Considering it is in a new spot and will most likely be totally different it could be considered new... kjkjkj
I guess...even though it says "completely new". Oh well, I'm not complaining!

They're probably re-coding the Haunt site in the style of everyone else in the chain. Along with their new tagline ("All You Fear Is Here"), which I thought was ours and ours only. EDIT: Can we pwease move Cheerfest to October on a Haunt night so we can scare us up some cheerleaders like Kings Dominion does? PWEASE? BoddaH1994
Ask and you shall receive The similiarities between Cut-Throat Cove for 2009 and the former Red Beard's Revenge are different. source: twitter.com/KI_Haunt

JAHill
The similarities are different? What the heck? That conpuzzled me as well.
BoddaH1994
I think the translation is that if you're looking for similarities between Cut-Throat Cove and Red Beard's Revenge there aren't many.
The Interpreter
So you are saying the first three words could have been omitted...strange. Perhaps someone needs a class in tweeting. Terpy, who has been to such a class...
kjkjkj
I didn't even know Red Beard's Revenge was going to be called Cut-Throat Cove this season. I didn't even know they were getting rid of Red Beard, I just assumed they were changing the location, but keeping the layout similar. Is Cut-Throat Cove going to be a scarezone? rotag
My understanding is that it will be over by liqour & food. Not to mention water.
RingMaster
I'm holding for it being a maze. So allegedly, with us being told back at the beginning of the year that Red Beard's being moved to the worksite's spot, it's possible it could go in the Skyline Patio. With cornSTALKERS along the Timberwolf path, this would alleviate any problems of Guest Flow, as people now have access to the Floral Clock paths as shortcuts rather than having to go all the way up Coney Mall or Rivertown/Nick U just to get to attractions at the back of the park (Urgent Scare, Vortex, Beast, etc.). Diamondback FOF
So who is working at Cut-Throat Cove this year? Also, under their Bio, is says: ALL YOU FEAR IS HERE! 500 monsters, 13 highly-intense mazes including two completely new haunts plus the scariest rides on the planet like Diamondback! Well, you could say we are getting three new Haunt attractions this year: Cut-Throat Cove, Slaughter House, and the live show, Hot Blooded. On their blog page, they don't say Cut-Throat Cove is new. When they say 13 attractions, are the shows counted in that? Also, what's the different between a scare zone and a maze?
Jasper
Just started following Haunt on Twitter. I have been following Kings Island's actual Twitter, I never knew that Haunt had one as well. Twitter has gained in popularity bigtime.

Yes the shows are including in the 13 and a scare zone = cornstalkers... its more of like a "walk through" (that you still wait in line for) Where the mazes are kinda of set up more like a maze, with only one way out or in... except Death Row
