Demon Drop has only been for sale for at least two years. The fact it was endangered was widely known. In fact, the ride IS being saved. Six Flags didn't save theirs...

Jury verdicts are what they are..... You never know what a jury will do, which is why most cases settle.... And remember that the money that will be paid to the plaintiff was held by the insurance company for over three years, while they invested or collected interest on it, which reduces their loss.

And if there was no insurance company, the same principle applies, the loss was still not paid out until the settlement...

From what I can find, DD was listed for sale mid August, 2005.

Yeah, I changed it *right* before it was confirmed that DD was leaving.
