KIfan73 Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 It seems like a lot of people that post on the forums live relatively close to the park. Just wondering how far away people on here are from Kings Island. Quote
tycoonrebel7188 Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 footballfreak and I are 28.8 miles from Kings Island. At least according to Coasterfanatics. Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 I am about a 15 or 20 minute drive south of Kings Island (I take 71 north) Quote
DropZone99 Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 129.3 Miles away. It says a 1 hour 59 minute drive, yet when my Mom drives it takes 1 hour 40 minutes, and when my sister drives it's 1 hour 30 minutes. This upcoming season I'll be driving there so hopefully I can get there pretty fast! And maybe the construction on 275 thats been going on for years yet nothing has been built... will finish! Quote
tycoonrebel7188 Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 ^If you are talking about the Construction across the top side of 275, yes it is finished. Construction finished up a few weeks after the season ended! Quote
TylerRider Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 I think I live about 25 minutes away, give or take! Quote

Construction finished up a few weeks after the season ended! That is great news! Traffic always slowed down to 50-esh in that area, not I'll probably save 15 minutes! Quote
Beast1979 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Takes me all of 10 minutes to get there, on a good day. I live about 10 miles south of Kings Island. Quote

Not to mention the disaster-waiting-to-happen enclosed express lane . I live around the border of goshen/loveland (close to the border of clermont and warren county), so it only takes me relatively 20 minutes to get to the island. Quote

That's how far it is for me too lol Quote
vortexfan Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I'm about 525 miles from Kings Island...just over 8 hours. Quote
RWildman424 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Depends on the time of year. 3 hours during school, 2 hours over breaks, and 20 minutes during the majority of the summer. No way I'm driving 2 hours from Indy to go to work. Quote
Tom76257 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 It takes me about a 25 minute drive from where I live in Fairfield. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 It takes me about 25 to 30 minutes to get to KI traveling 25 miles from Anderson Township. On the other hand, Coney is a relatively short 7 miles and ten minutes from my house. Which explains why I have worked at Coney for so many years and never at Kings Island. That would be a lot of extra time wasted sitting in my car driving! Quote

I know exactly what you mean, and I'll be living much closer to KI this year. Quote
