Great news! I assume that this is a final vote (for now), and will not resurface again in a couple months like the last time Mason held a meeting on this subject.

    Ironically, the closure of Kentucky Kingdom and the abundant, mostly negative news about the Apollo "merger" probably both helped to contribute to this outcome. In any event, this is very good news for Kings Island and its patrons.

    This is the best news I've heard all day! I wanted to come out and help support Kings Island but I was swamped with work and personal things! I wanted this tax to die and I got what I wanted! Take that Tom Grossmann and councilman Tony Bradburn! WE the people have spoken!

    If I'm not mistaken Bradburn was the only council member that voted for the tax. I am going to find channel 5 on here now-I still can't get my tv to work.
