Yes, the game is short, but don't worry, there are more games on the way! I don't think the programmer Ryan is ready to release any details, so I'll just leave it at that. wink.gif

Yes, JSBA is rather short. But it does have some varying gameplay. The reason it is so short is because I thought I had only 2 weeks to get the game together, in reality, I could've kept working on it for 3 months! Sometime around PKI's last weekend I plan on making the anouncement on the future of the series, which will contain 2 games that are much larger than JSBA(and have been in production for months now). Thanks for the comments! biggrin.gif

Where did you see a plug on Chef's book? I just beat the thing and didn't see it.

I liked it though, it was fun. Jeff said that he was aware that there would be a game about him coming out, but has anyone thought to actually send it to him yet?

I will send the link to him and see his reaction. Or I will just catch him up at the park.

Did anyone else catch him in the vampire outfit on Sat? That was good lookin`

I am sad to admit that I haven't had time to download the game yet. My wife and I have been very busy with an out of town guest.

How long does it take to download? I will try tonight.

Have a great day!

That means alot coming from Jeff himself. Thanks for all the positive responses! I'm wrapping up the story on one of the sequels, which will be the finale of a planned trilogy of Jeff/PKI games. A certain member of these boards will be a playable character...

HHHEEELLLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!! sad.gifsad.gifsad.gif

Tonight I tried to download the Jeffrey Siebert game 2 times - and both times it took over 1 hour. The first time it saved as an un-readable (wierd symbols) word document.

So then I tried to download it on my DESKTOP - and once again...it's an un-readable word document.

Please tell me where I'm going wrong. How do I download the game and where? I really want to play the game but can't access it.

Sincerely,

Italian Chef

Considering I've never had to download it personally, I'm not sure why it would do that. If you don't have Winzip, that could be the problem, as JSBA comes in Winzip format, like most downloaded material. Otherwise, I'm not very sure why it would do that.

Hey RyanA

Why not make a game with all of the PKIU players in it? For example, you could lead a crusade as Aaron, who meets up with other people to form a core group. Just a thought.

You can download winzip by going to www.winzip.com It has a unlimited free trial.

EDIT

I am uploading the game to my server as an exe file so that way you dont have to pay for winzip!Jeff sieberts big adventure in EXE format

It will create a folder on your desktop with the game inside then all you do is click on the icon from there.

Hope aaron or ryan mind me helping.

Well, SOBTOM, that would be a great idea, wouldn't it? wink.gif

Sobrider, tisk tisk, uploading my game without permission...

fine by me! Remember though, that PKIU has exclusive downloading rights for JSBA. So it is not permitted on any other site than PKIUnlimited for now. The same goes for the 2 upcoming sequels in production right now.

Have a Great Day!

Actually I was gonna take it offline after Chef downloaded it. He didn't seem to familar with the whole zipping idea this simplifies the method. I could just give aaron the EXE file when he comes on if you prefer.

Ryan a little tidbit the exe file would be better for the next game. From the winzip classic menu goto actions and make exe file after you zip everything togeather. That way people like chef do not have to get winzip.

I hope chef sees it soon I dont have that kind of bandwith to leave that file up all night.

Unfortunately, in the chaos of getting the game together for it's release, especially with all the bugs it had, I didn't have the time or foresight to put JSBA in EXE form, but I will make sure to do that for the next one. Thanks for the advice!
