Aaron Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 Well, after getting the latest version of Adobe Photoshop (CS or v8.0, whatever you wanna call it), I decided to do some photo editing, and here's a cool shot of Vortex that I did... Comments? Quote

skatefanjeff Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 That is one great looking picture Aaron. I like it a lot. That is very creative. Quote
VoRtExKid2005 Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 Nice, I shoud try something like that with my photo editor. Quote
AZ Kinda Guy Posted November 17, 2003 Posted November 17, 2003 Just found me a new background pic for my desktop. That's freaking awesome Aaron! Quote
Browntggrr Posted November 17, 2003 Posted November 17, 2003 Great Job! But the pic seems to be sinking... Quote
mydreamrewrite Posted November 17, 2003 Posted November 17, 2003 you totally cut me out!! I was in the fourth car... Quote
bradb055 Posted November 17, 2003 Posted November 17, 2003 (edited) How did you do that? Is it two diffrent layers? Also, what did the original look like? Im kinda curious(sp?) because I have done similar, but not as good, pictures of other things. I have a few programs including Adobe Photoshop, but have failed to produce any noteworthy work. Nice Job! mydreamrewrite, You must be there, because the fourth car is pictured. LOL! Edited January 1, 1970 by Bradb055 Quote
Aaron Posted November 17, 2003 Author Posted November 17, 2003 How did you do that? Is it two diffrent layers? Also, what did the original look like? It's magic. It was pretty simple to do, I figured it out just screwing w/ Photoshop CS and seeing some of the new features it has. I am sure you can find plenty of Photoshop tutorials to do the same effect that I did... SPOONO is a great Photoshop website. And for those who want to see the original... just give it a clicky. bradb055 Posted November 17, 2003 Posted November 17, 2003 Yeah, Im an idiot. I found the original on this website already. Thanks! Quote
fyrfyter Posted November 17, 2003 Posted November 17, 2003 I think that it looks sweet. A little blur action maybe, from within the confies of PhotoShop? Nice work. Quote
Dane Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 Nice, I can do it but I don't have that kind of time... Good job Aaron. Quote
Aaron Posted November 18, 2003 Author Posted November 18, 2003 Nice, I can do it but I don't have that kind of time... It actually only took about 5 minutes to make. Quote
monkeyman Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 wow, it only took 5 minutes, i would have never guessed.......i would've agreed with Dane Quote
Aaron Posted November 18, 2003 Author Posted November 18, 2003 Yes, the new Photoshop Creative Suite is extremely powerful, and if you know what you are doing, you can create some extremely complex and amazing photo edits in just a matter of minutes. Quote
Losing Streak Posted November 27, 2003 Posted November 27, 2003 Cool looking pic... It looks like there's a crack in the first car and on the track, but upon further review it's a piece of the transfer track. So good job. Quote
pki2005 Posted December 15, 2003 Posted December 15, 2003 Truefully I dont like it at all. Sorry Quote
fyrfyter Posted December 15, 2003 Posted December 15, 2003 The only thing I would do to improve it, would be to just blur the picture, and still have the PKIU logo and words in the corner readable. Then it would truly look realistic, and even possible as a takeable (is that a word?) picture. Quote
waterworkrulz Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 dude!!! i'm in that picture!!!! your not the only one in the pic. Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 So Aaron, how did the effect work? Was the picture taken at a fash shutter speed and then the track was manipulated to look like a slow speed? Either way, it looks really neat. Quote
Tanner Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 He took a picture, selected the background, and did a motion blur. If you know what you're doing it can be achieved in really a matter of minutes. Quote
