bkroz Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 I sometimes wonder what Kings Island's claim-to-fame would be if there were another Cedar Fair park in the "Midwest." Everything that happens at Kings Island is the biggest, baddest, firstest, coolest, longest, hottest, and most immersive of its kind [in the Midwest]. ... Wait... Isn't Cedar Point in "the Midwest?" Quote
DropZone99 Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 ^Yes, but Halloweekends isn't nearly as good as Haunt. Barley any fog, no scareactos, ect... Quote
TH13TEEN Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 So is ValleyFair and Michigan's Adventure. I think... And I'm working Haunt for the first time this year I am so pumped. Quote
Purplehaze Posted August 1, 2010 Author Posted August 1, 2010 Yes it is and there are a few parks in the Midwest. http://maps.howstuffworks.com/maps-of-the-midwest.htm I have never been to CP Halloween bash, is it good? Quote
CoasterFreak45 Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 It's such a great time, this will be second year! I hope this october is not as rainy as last year. Quote
Purplehaze Posted August 1, 2010 Author Posted August 1, 2010 I would love to take a Halloween excursion to all the parks this year to experience everything but that is when my business gets busy, not so much in the summer. Quote
BeastForever Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 I LOVE Halloween Haunt. The fog, the trails, the bitter cold, the wind chill of the rides, the feeling of it all. Nothing better. My favorite haunted trail is the TRAIL OF TERROR!!! any day of the week. Quote

CoasterFreak45 Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 We also had lightning last year, now that was amazing. Quote
TH13TEEN Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 ^ I don't think Kings Island did well last fall it go so cold and rainy. Quote
coaster_junky Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 i know it rained the day i went; my dad, his friend, my sister, and me, were the only ones (including "haunters") in the whole cemetery drive. Quote
TylerRider Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 I think the park is really going to step it up this year. They already have a ton of stuff out! Quote
CoasterFreak45 Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Sweet. I hate hot weather, bring on the fall! Quote
RingMaster Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Fourteen attractions, eh? I can only guess another new location is being prepped and ready for a brand new maze. *cough*Peanuts Playhouse*cough* I am keeping my fingers crossed for a Doll Factory maze and/or the rumored werewolf maze replacing Tombstone Terrortory. Quote
rotag Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 im ready for round two, i plan on bringin extra show this year. hopefully ill get to be a clown or crazy skitzo person. hopefully both. Quote
XGatorHead 8904 Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 ^Wait, you aren't both already? I can't wait for Haunt, but like others have said, too bad it means the end is near. I wonder where I'll be lurking this year? Quote
kjkjkj Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I am going to miss working with my group of hillbillies in Trail of Terror. I had a lot of fun there! Sadly I am not returning to work at Haunt this year as far as I know. I may make my return someday though! hahaha. I don't know if anyone remembers me from Trail of Terror, but I was in the exploding port o potty section. I stood agains a tree and made myself look like a prop. I occasionally had a chain on my arm from a tree. Quote
CoasterFreak45 Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I loved Tombstone to death, but I can't decide if I want to go back, ugh...I hate trying to figure this out. Quote
SOB_TOM Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I will be working at The Dent Schoolhouse for the third year, and I am excited for another haunt season! There's nothing like being inside a house, the mood completely set, and stalking the living! For those who are curious, The Dent Schoolhouse was ranked #6 in 2009 by Hauntworld.com's "Best Haunted Attractions" and also is ranked in the top 25 in Haunted Attractions Magazine's "Must See Haunts." The doors open for another frightful school year on Sept. 17th and runs through Oct. 31st. For official information, go to http://www.frightsite.com to purchase tickets and see operating hours. Sorry, shameless plug, but I have been through this haunt time and again as a paying customer, as well as an actor, and The Dent Schoolhouse is by far one of the best haunts I have ever been through. I highly recommend everyone to go to it. Quote
LongliveKingsCobra Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Well I help out with St. Ritas haunted House, and that is an awesome attraction, and I love to work it. Quote
