Rivets?

Hey, I'm going to Kings Island in a little while and I wanted to know something real quick:

Does Boomerang Bay allow rivets on the side of your swimsuit? I don't want to have to do the walk of shame.

When I went there a few yeas ago, they asked me to turn around to check for them. It would be good to a ) Call the Park, and b ) Just wear a swimsuit that doesn't have rivits just to be sure.

I do not think they allow it. But as he said it is always best to call to be sure.

What type of attire is permitted in Boomerang Bay?

Appropriate swimwear must be worn while in Boomerang Bay. Proper swimming attire is defined as one or two-piece suits without abrasive buttons, rivets, zippers, or snaps.

Swimwear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, drain holes, or metal ornamentation is not permitted on Boomerang Bay slides.

Swim masks that cover the nose and/or mouth are not permitted.

They aren't strict about it though, last time I went to Boomerang Bay I wore regular shorts (with pockets, belt buckle, zippers, buttons, ect..) and they let me on every slide.

My fiance and I were at boomerang bay Thursday and he had a small rivet on his back pocket and would not let him on a slide.

I guess it depends on who is working. I went today with some friends and none of the workers checked for them. (Too bad I had already ripped my two rivets off the side of my trunks )

Oh well. I called as well before I went and they said no rivets. So hope you have the workers I had today if you forget to remove your rivets.

I have a rivet in a small pocket on the side of my swimsuit. They didn't make me take the walk of shame, but they did make me roll up my swimsuit to cover up the rivet, so it likely depends on where the rivets are located.

In my experience they are fairly strict about not allowing rivets on swimsuits on the slides. I was trying to go on a slide with my friend and she was told she wouldn't be able to ride because her swimsuit featured a small metal hoop holding the two cups of her top together.

You'd probably be best off buying a new swimsuit without any sort of metal on them. They sell them at a shop in Boomerang Bay but like everything else at Kings Island, they're horrendously overpriced.

And since they sell such suits at the park, you'd think that to both protect their equipment and other patrons and to guarantee suit sales, they'd be very, very observant in looking for opportunities to improve guest comfort while making moola.

From what I've seen they are being very observant this year. I have yet to go down a body slide without being asked to turn around and show my trunks to the employee. Thankfully I decided to invest in one of the pairs of trunks sold in the gift shop, just to be on the safe side
