DaveStroem Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 http://www.thecaroli...3&MemberID=1598 A good friend of mine has a business across the street from the park. He told me that a group of about 10 people were going though the park last week. I don't know if that has anything to do with this or if it was a last ditch effort to get investors. I would love to see some of these rides make their way to another park. As I have stated before, I fell that these would complement Holiday Worlds line up perfectly. Quote
HTCO Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Indeed it would, but as of right now, Holiday World loves woodies. Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Unless and until certain legal actions give buyers clear legal title to Freestyle Music Park assets, it would not be wise to attempt to acquire those assets from the current legal owners, given the many claims, some even reduced to judgments, against those assets... DaveStroem Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 Terpy, your right, but isn't this one step closer to those assets becoming available? Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 It is, but only a fool would deal with the current "owner," in my humble opinion. Quote
DaveStroem Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 I figure that these will eventually be purchased from whom ever is appointed to liquidate that park. Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Looks like the land had been sold.. HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The 125 acres of land where the former Freestyle Music Park once stood has been sold. According to Horry County tax records, the site was sold for $3,545,000 on Dec. 28, 2018. Records show it was purchased by FTPP Bishop Parkway LLC, which was registered as a business with the S.C. Secretary of State’s Office in Oct. 2018. More here: http://www.wmbfnews.com/2019/01/11/former-freestyle-music-park-sold/ Quote
