What`s next for Son of Beast?

Featured Replies

Two was enough.

GYK, who wasn't born, but knows that - adding it all together - about 2 years was enough. But let's distract them by flipping things backwards!

I just wanted to add some of my own sarcasm and absurdity to this thread. I feel better now...

I hope to ride it again as well. If not, I'd like to see another record breaker of some kind (and not one that gets owned by another coaster in the same year (DB vs. 305)) ... Ok. As promised. Last

    Wow man, your quite annoying.

Ahhhh, ya gotta love origanal Batman. Just so cheesy. :P

But seriously is something going on with Son of Beast or not?

The ORIGINAL Batman was in comic books and on the RADIO. The campy version was long, long after that! :)

As for your question. Yes, something is going on, or it is not.

But seriously is something going on with Son of Beast or not?

Not that the public knows about at this point. Nothing's been released about the ride and observationally, nothing has been done to it. But of course, only one large attraction was announced for Cedar Fair's parks next season, where there have historically been two!

GYK, spritzing the fire with gasoline.

It's a figurative fire set ablaze in everyone's head by goodyellowkorn182. I just keep thinking "Keep the Fire Burnin".........

Fire is the park's natural enemy, but wouldn't it be worth it for the world's largest marshmallow roast?!?

YUK YUK YUCK.

( It's been too long. We ought to advertise this site on Facebook.com/VisitKingsIsland to reinvigorate some quality discussions about Son of Beast. -_-)

You mean this isn't quality conversation?

If someone isn't suggesting the oh-so-original thought that Son of Beast become "the world's largest bon fire," I am not having fun.

You share your marshmallows and I'll share my graham crackers. Who's got the chocolate? And don't say Hershey Park. ;]

Terp, are you comparing SOB to a ride that our grand park used to have named after said Chiroptera, and it just went over people's heads, or am I think to much into that?

My thoughts exactly. Hm.....

Good catch.

I have no emotional attachment to SOB, I've never ridden it, but frankly, if it doesn't run, take it down. There's some space for fun that it's taking up. It's not like it's casting Gramma on the curb with all her furnishings. Action Zone can use some livening up.

So my bold prediction of whats next for Son of Beast is.. Pencils and toothpicks

^

Funny, but I was expecting something more like this...

 I'll let everyone know if I see that giant piece of machinery plowing down I-71..

Well, Bat channel could lead to a Ghoster Coaster or a Ghost of a coaster although that may be a "Herculean" effort.
