CoastersRZ
Because in 1986, The Bat was gone and The Vortex was not yet built. In short, it is very likely that picture was taken in 1986. An interesting thing to note with that Eiffel Tower diagram is that it lists the upper deck platform at 264' and the lower one at 252'. If I`m not mistaken, the elevator operators generally refer to the two platform levels as 275' and 265'.

I am proudly a 5'9 individual today, but the High School basketball programs billed me as 5'10 or maybe even 5'11.

ParkMake
To me that Son of Beast picture is amazing and historic. And that was a fairly good guess with the dinosaur.

CoastersRZ
That's a bummer. It would give a nice view of WindSeeker construction!
jandyb79
That's a bummer. It would give a nice view of WindSeeker construction! Maybe this is the "additional webcam" view. Makes sense to use what currently exists rather than put up something new.
rotag
i think it would be neat if the webcam worked like holiday worlds where it progressively panned instead of using multiple webcams for viewing. it be nice to see it pan up & down WindSeekers tower. jdawg1998
Let's face it, Kings Island isn't the best with keeping up with webcams....... ...Holiday World has the best ones!
Hendrick
I miss that webcam. I actually found the link a few days ago, but as expected, was a 404 error. Here it was.

Jasper
I still cannot get over how much it appears that the park has changed. Some of these shots I wouldn't even be able to tell it is KI.
jcgoble3
Bonus Photo 36.5 (from KI's Facebook page) Here's what the area where the new 301' tall WindSeeker ride is being built looked like when Kings Island first opened on April 29, 1972. Jasper
That's crazy to think how the Tique's were pretty much at the very back of the park, and now look at what all has developed.
