FAST Beer Dispensing System On Way To Arenas, Some Parks (?)

Recommended Posts

I'm still fascinated the cups don't leak. If, that is, they don't.

If the "home" position of the valve is closed, and the valve is properly sealed, I can see it working. My question sits with the financials: How much more expensive is this cup compared to the standard plastic beer cup?

Beer.....nasty stuff, I have no idea how people can drink it.

There is nasty beer... and there is great beer.

Can't say I like paying ballpark prices for beer. But I will say the Miami Dolphins do it right... they sell Landshark Lager for the same price as your standard crap beers. Good stuff. Now if ballparks could just sell Newcastle for that price...

Maybe to some people but me, no way, no how and I've been to Europe and tried stuff there. Every last bit of it has that horrid funky taste that I cannot describe, lol. Being from Kentucky, I do love me some Bourbon though.

Very much so Terp. I still remember when my father first gave me a glass. I was about 5 and wouldn't touch it because I thought it was BEER because of the name, lol. Once I finally tried it though, I was hooked. Of course it was the good Draft style which was always better than the canned stuff.

They also serve Yeungling Lager at their stadium for the same price, or at least they did when I went to the Orange Bowl two years ago.

If you want Newcastle at a sporting event, I believe the Columbus Crew have it for the same price as their other drafts, as well as a few other delicious brews.

For those who have wondered how this works...

Do you remember that jaw dropping video that showed beer being poured through the bottom of the glass? It all works because of this simple magnet attached to the bottom of the cup. The magnet raises up, to open, when being filled with the BottomsUP tap and keeps closed when you're drinking the brewski. Smart.

Wow another Dolphins fan beside me!

Sorry, FoF.. I'm not a Dolphins fan. I went down just as an opportunity to get to florida, haha. Seeing an NFL game was just an added bonus ;) Speaking of bonuses, have you seen their cheerleaders?  :o
