It went something like "Hey Zephyr riders, you wanna know how to make the ride go faster?" "Yeah!" "Everyone, put your arms out like a plane and make jet noises.... You wanna know how to make it go even faster?" "Yeah!" "Stick your arms out and wave them like a bird!.... You wanna make Zephyr go realllllly fast?" "Yeah!" The cars got a little out of sync so our OP actually asked us if we wanted to race and held the car until the other was ready. During this time he proceeded to rip on the opposing ride OP for a solid 3 minutes while his car was loading. Quote

He said a bunch of funny stuff but the one i remember most was,"Are you guys ready to ride Kings Islands smelliest ride"!! I went early Saturday during power hour (which I didnt know about) and bugged the ride opps about questions (what the most riders in an hour for the best?), they got one of our crew locked and ready to go (our person needed help getting the second click), and then the late night crew had the trains loud before closing. My nephew had never ridden The Beast, and the crew + The Beast at night = his fav ride of the whole day... way to go Beast Crew! I like the "if you like to ride The Beast, clap your hands!" Quote
TheCrypt Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Went yesterday and rode The Beast at night. On the second lift, they play the first lift's spiel in addition to the Lost score. Cresting the top of Lift 2, a ride op came over the speaker system. "Remain seated throughout the entire ride. Please keep ha-- EVERYBODY CLAP YOUR HANDS!" Last year on Backlot, at the MCBR, a ride op came over the speaker system while the helicopter was shooting at us, voicing over the machine gun sound effects with a "Pew pew pew pew!" similar to a faux bullet sound. 2 Quote

TheCrypt Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Yesterday, the ride ops seemed to be in pretty good moods! Zephyr- While I was waiting, the ride ops said "We hope you enjoyed your 20 mph adrenalin rush on the best ride in the park." As we were riding it, the ride op had a screaming contest throughout each color section. "Now, when I say your seat color, scream as loud as you can! Green! Goood... Yellow! Wow, that was terrible. Blue! Pretty good! Red! You blew Blue out of the water! Now on the count of three, everyone scream as loud as you can! 1,2,3!" On Linus Launcher, the ride op had a game of Simon Says going. At Ice Cream Zone, this cashier (I hate myself for not getting his name!) was very energetic and lively. He made us laugh so much! Diamondback crew was doing the "When I say Diamond you say Back. Diamond...Diamond....Diamond....Enjoy your ride on Diamond..." which was nice, becaus I haven't seen that since early on last year. Speaking of Diamondback, that reminds me of last year. "You're about to go up and down, do a turny thing, go up and down, do another turny thing, and go underwater!" Quote

On this one I found it really funny when they said "Thank you for riding Flight Deck, where there are more trash cans in line than people" It just made my day that much better Quote
