DaveStroem
If you have not registered yet, you still have time to sign up for Coasting for Kids. The event will be Sunday July 24th and will be on Racer. http://www.firstgiving.com/gktw/KI The registration is $40 and you need to also raise $35 in additional funds. For the next 20 people to register I will pledge $5 each in support for your page. Now if I can't get you with the charity angle, look at it in another light. For your entry, you get 8 hours of ERT, Lunch at the International Restaurant, T-Shirt and the satisfaction of knowing your helping a GREAT cause. BTW, ERT is not quite accurate since during an ERT you still have to stand in line, during this event, you get to stay on the train other then rest breaks. Also this is not an endurance test. If you feel that you need a break, take one or two or as many as you want. For those of you that can not make it to the event. Please support those that are participating. Donations don't need to be large, just a couple of dollars here and there adds up to helping a great cause. Instead of buying a soda next time your at KI, take that money and help put a smile on the face of a child with a life threatening illness. DaveStroem
I haven't gotten any replies to this yet. Please let me know if you have register after I posted the above link. If you registered before hand, any thing left out to the $100 that I am donating to the KIC new registrants will be divide among the rest with the emphasis on those that are under $35. jcgoble3
I'd love to sign up, but I'm without transportation until my car gets out of the body shop (hail damage), which may not be until early next week, so I can't be sure that I would be able to make it. I was told that they hope to get it back on Friday, but it depends on whether they have to call the insurance adjuster out to approve additional expenses. If I get it back Friday, I'll look into my budget and see if I can come up with the money to do it, but with only two days to raise money, I'd probably have to pay a lot of the $75 myself, and combined with my very tight budget, that would probably kill it. DaveStroem
Today is the day that I am going to put my donations in. If you want to catch a piece of what I am doing, let me know so I don't miss you. If your in the KIC team, I know about you. If you are also a close friend, I see you there too. But if your not in the KIC team, and you don't already have $35 in your account please post here or PM me.

DaveStroem
Indyguy, it wasn't much in your case, but my goal is to get everyone to the minimum, or if they are too far away for me to cover it all, to at least get them a little bit closer. BoddaH1994
Also, remember that if KIC is represented by 50 people then we get a special catered event at the park. Details on the home page.
Tanna
I wish I could but I'm free lance, so can't predict if I could go or not. It would be great to be there with all the people that love coasters, though.
