Random model of Rollercoaster in shop window?

I was walking on the left of the fountain near the Skyline and in the Thrill Gear shop window there is a model of a random rollerocaster. Any ideas of what it is? Or is it a new ride we are getting?

It's a model of a K'nex style kit- build your own roller coaster. I think they have the kit available in the shop.

Oh, that sucks. Cause that ride looked pretty sweet.

Yeah, that model has been there for at least a year (however long it has been since Kings Island's Facebook Page had 5@5)

Yeah, it's a Coaster Dynamix set I believe. Which is basically a fancy K'nex set, I was thinking of getting one a while back. But they cost a lot of money.

There is this store called "Coolest Toys on Earth" in Milford with that same roller coaster - I think it costs around $200.

**EDIT** How many times will this topic be started. Not trying to be rude, but it is like the 3rd or 4th time within a year this topic has been started. I know the poster is new to the forum. Maybe KI needs to label this coaster toy and put a note that it is not a future coaster. lol

Welcome to KICentral ajwinters. If the park is going to show a new toy or model of a new attraction they usually will share it when they make an announcement.

Brian5475E I agree this topic does come up every so often but when I did a quick search I did not find anything fairly recent, so if you can find one from before the park opened this year please share the link with me. I think we can give the newbies a bit of a break when we could not find a recent one with a quick search ourselves. I agree about a note on that model in the shop but I believe KI would rather see interest in it. Oh don't forget to welcome the new member too.

I can understand the confusion, though. At a Haunt, I saw the lift of the Diamondback, the lift and nothing else- and lo! there was a construction worker standing underneath it, who took me to see a model of Diamondback that looked very much like the model in the toy store window. I thought the kit was the Diamondback model at first glance.

(I think of that worker's pride in that coaster every time I'm on the lift of DB. He loved building it.)
