Kings Island Tomb Raider Media day and other old pictures

That's not all the audio files. You're missing the hour long inside queue and the hour long outside queue as well as a few others. ^_^

It's also cool to watch the original preshow movie. That really brings back the memories!

I'll never forget the first time I rode it in 02, seeing that ultra-violet paint and having the eyes burning at you. I remember once in 02, buying a shirt at one of the stores to wear over my uniform so I could ride it on break. On that ride I ended up getting nailed by one of the water jets and had to go back to work soaked. Memories :)

That first time you ride TRTR in it's original state, it really is mind blowing. It was like nothing else anyone had seen. So awesome!

Going to a shift soaking wet is the best. I once rode White Water Canyon about fifteen minutes before a close at Vortex. Looking back, I'm not sure why I did this. lol

Here's a photo of the ride outside of a box.

Wow, that's amazing how huge the ride looks "outside the box".

Here are all the audio files the ride used as tomb raider. You can listen to the in ride music and relive the ride.

Thanks for bringing that up. Really nice hearing all that sense I never got to ride it.

It's our Crypt alright, and a picture of a prototype. Ours was the only Giant Top Spin ever made, and obviously for good reason.

By the way, HUSS continues to offer Giant Top Spins on their products website. They've got moxy, I'll give 'em that!

It dosen't say how much it cost :(. I want to win the lottery then get a giant top spin, and replicate TR:TR. (Yeah I know, that will never happen)

Ah, the TRTR music. Somewhere around here I think I also have a copy of the video file used for the preshow. That and all of the individual sound effects for the ride. This one is probably my favorite:

Nothing like some good canned screams, haha

This one too. Most of you probably didnt have the pleasure of hearing this:

Also this one always puzzled me. There are about 40 individual sound effects and I could point out where every single one is during the course of the ride or queue, except this one. I've always wondered the story. I just assume it was something they had, then either didn't have a place for it, or just didn't use it because maybe it crossed a line.

It's sound effect number 21.

OHHH how I miss the good old KI Days... the days where you could ride the Flying Eagles, ride KCKC and the King Cobra!

I have the original video file. I don't know how legal it would be to put it on youtube though.

Hard to say. I mean who actually owns it now? Viacom? Cedar Fair? Or did it just fall through the cracks? I assume its the oval shaped .wmv file correct?
