Assuming, of course:

i. The thread will not have been deleted/replaced/supplanted by then. There have been several such.

ii. That there will be such an announcement. It is conceivable there might not be.

iii. That KIC will last longer than Son of Beast's fate's apparent hanging under a supposed Sword of Damocles.

Which one? There have been multiple, such; many of them deleted from the accessible pages of this site.

I cracked up when most people voted for 5,000+, including me.

The one that was called "The Son of Beast Discussion Thread".

I seem to remember it being well over 3200 posts.

I think it is kinda silly to make a thread discussing a future thread. I doubt they will ever make an announcement of SOB. It will sit there and rot, and eventually fall apart.

But it's not discussing a future thread, it's discussing the length of an existing thread at the time an announcement is made (if there is one).

Reactions may be in a whole nother thread at that time.

The ride will not be forever standing but not operating.

I think it will be a lot less posts than expected, because it is now locked.

I say 2530 since the topic is now locked and will be when an announcement is made.

I distinctly recall Brian5475E telling us the announcement will be made sooner than that, as well as what the announcement is.

I second this.

I hate these posters that post false information and are somewhat trolls, but I also hate posters that make fun of others. Why can't you just ignore them?
