Sparky
Would the park consider doing a "Texas Giant" conversion to this "woodie"..?

KIfan1980
I'd actually say yes - they should. Would I want it, no. Do I think it needs it, no. But in the interest of ensuring that they provide the best experience for guests for a long time, then this should at least be evaluated as an option somewhere along the way. Ffej
It was. Gone from the second lift too? Could also just have been off or not working. Yeah, gone from the second lift also. Yes, it could have simply not been turned on for the season yet. Anyway, I just noticed that. I always thought of the lift music as Paramount's desperate attempt to incorporate some kind of theme into Beast.
Titan
I'll be heading out to the park for the first time this season Saturday and from all the reviews I've heard..... I can't wait!
TTD-120-420
The lift music was on during opening day on my ride.
stashua123
I rode The Beast over the now"infamous" wheel seat and at the very back of the train and surprisingly it wasn't that rough just in the helix it was forceful and *gulp* it had some airtime!! and felt A LOT faster
westcoaster
Never would KI do a texas giant retro fit to The Beast say it would never be an option!
bkroz
One day, The Beast will no longer be a ride at Kings Island. Really! I guarantee it!
slitthythroat
One day, The Beast will no longer be a ride at Kings Island. Really! I guarantee it! One day, there will also not be a Kings Island. In time, everything comes to an end.
jdawg1998
One day, The Beast will no longer be a ride at Kings Island. Really! I guarantee it! It's really so sad to think about that. Let's hope it lasts 100 years like some of the rides at Kennywood.
PKIVortex
Wooden coasters can last forever as long as they are maintained properly. Wood can be replaced.
TromaKing
I finally got a ride on The Beast this year. The first half was a lot smoother. However the second half was still very rough.
Pillsberry123
One day, The Beast will no longer be a ride at Kings Island. Really! I guarantee it! People also said that there would come a time when Big Dipper would no longer be a ride at Geauga Lake. I have a feeling that it will be the same scenario for The Beast and Kings Island. The Interpreter
And yet there is a Coney Island of Ohio without Wildcat or Shooting Star. The Kochs seemingly think there can be a Bluegrass Boardwalk without Thunder Run, at least for a while. And from 1972 til 1978, Kings Island did quite well without a Beast. thunderbeast1968
I am going to KI on Monday June 4th. I hope The Beast is super smooth, like I heard. Does anyone know about discounts to Kings Island ie: Krogers, Wendys, McDonalds? I am 3 hours away, and my Kroger store has tickets for 36.99. I would like to find a better price if I can. Hoeter
I had the chance to ride yesterday...and I have to say that it was probably one of the best, smoothest rides that I've had in a long, long time.
medford
rode it 4 times friday, much smoother than last season. Got my niece on her first front of The Beast ride, as well as her first night ride, one of the last 2 trains prior to the fireworks going off.
