stashua123 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Ive decided to start a new thread about rumors. But you cant be too vague and have to name the source you got the rumor from. Here's a start http://screamscape.c...try_news.htm#BM Could this mean a floorless coaster?
PhantomTheater Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Relieved I am to find out this is not about the removal of a hershey park coaster. 8
BB1 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Is this the threads for all threads of this concept of this discussion? If so, it will get shut down soon, very soon.
The Interpreter Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Relieved I am to find out this is not about the removal of a hershey park coaster. Amen Terp, who loves that looper. 1
PKIVortex Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Could CP get a Floorless instead of a Winged coaster for 2013?
beastfan11 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Why are we starting a thread when we already have an entire forum section devoted to the topic at hand? 8
Jr for Birdy Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Why are we starting a thread when we already have an entire forum section devoted to the topic at hand? Because this one is "Super Dooper"! Duh. 1
Gordon Bombay Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Why are we starting a thread when we already have an entire forum section devoted to the topic at hand? I heard a rumor that this topic will soon be closed for that very reason. 5
TTD-120-420 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 What did the Screamscape link take you to? I got taken to the Disney page.
The Interpreter Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Speculation (which is all Screamscape usually is) that B&M is building a floorless.
LongliveKingsCobra Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I've always wanted to ride a floorless coaster. Are they any fun?
The Interpreter Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Yes. Medusa East aka Bizarro South is one of my favorite rides. It's a real dominator. 2
fanofFirehawk Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I've always wanted to ride a floorless coaster. Are they any fun? yes Well at least Kraken was.

The Interpreter Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 We already have an entire area for that.... 2
flightoffear1996 Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I've only been on one. Dominator at Geagua Lake and it was a blast.
A.S.Coasters Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I rode Dominator at KD and it kicked some serious ass.
KIfan1980 Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Is this the threads for all threads of this concept of this discussion? Yes We already have an entire area for that.... Yeah - it seems lately that some posters are trying to create a broad thread for wide ranging topics. It was done by Gordon (and rightly so in my opinion) for SoB because that SBNO coaster has a history on his website of generating many overlapping and hard to moderate discussions. Since then, we've seen it proposed for Soak City, Rumors, Down Rides, and a couple of individual rides. This, unfortunately reminds me of the TPR super topic approach (where all KI is in one thread) - not the path I'd like to see KIC take. With a touch or irony, I'd suggest that those of us who aren't moderators (and/or acting in that capacity with the support of the moderators like Gordon) should probably just focus on adding to existing topics or creating a new one if we have a unique enough topic to start and a search doesn't show the same topic already being discussed. 5

Finally, I couldn't agree more. I've only been on here a year and a half and it seems this forum has spiraled out of control. Veteran members have left, and expert, all-knowing theme park engineers have came in. They seem to know all the rumors, everything the parks are getting next year and so much more. Most of the threads are not thread-worthy. I love new members joining, don't get me wrong, but they need to learn how to navigate the forum before making new threads that are either reposts or generic blubber. 9
Rustbucket Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 I rode Dominator at KD and it kicked some serious ass. Sounds painful. My ride on Dominator or Batman Knight Flight did anything to my behind. Bizarro (SFGAd), Batman (SFNE), Scream, Hydra all seem more or less similar experience to Inverted coasters such as Afterburn or Raptor. This is not a bad thing but nowhere near the thrill I get from Leviathan, Diamondback or Intimidator. Who know. This may be a launch 4D winged stand up coaster.
KIBeast Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I thoroughly enjoyed Dominatrix at Geauga Lake myself. Had some high speeds on that one, plus the interlocking corkscrews was always cool.
Captain Nemo Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I thoroughly enjoyed Dominatrix at Geauga Lake myself. Had some high speeds on that one, plus the interlocking corkscrews was always cool. cool story bro... Hope you knew the safe word to get off the ride.
Mr. Christopher Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I thoroughly enjoyed Dominatrix at Geauga Lake myself. Had some high speeds on that one, plus the interlocking corkscrews was always cool. Be careful of those restraints.
