BB1
^ "Everyone's a Captain Kirk?" No gosh, everyone knows that on KIC its Captian Picard.... Its actually the standing in the ruins lyric, seems fitting, although one could make a whole album full of songs that suit a certain Son of The Beast.. TheBEASTunchained
Someone should try to get some pictures of it from the Eiffel Tower today?
KI FANATIC 37
^^I agree with you. I will actually be highly disappointed if they do not announce a new coaster for 2014. I wonder how much it is costing them to tear this thing down?
The Interpreter
More than was planned when it was designed. Sooner, too.
xXDrummerKiDXx
Well my question is: How long will it take to actually tear it ALL down and clean it up?
TheBEASTunchained
Well my question is: How long will it take to actually tear it ALL down and clean it up? It could take up to a month but at the speed that they took that one small section out, I'm guessing about a month in a half if they keep at the same speed? The Interpreter
Like many things here, much depends on weather.
xXDrummerKiDXx
While you are right Terp, we just have to hope that things will go smooth. Who knows, maybe a windstorm will knock some of it down? (Anyone see what I did there)
The Interpreter
Yep. Several ways. Won't be snow. This time. Probably.

The Interpreter
I just hope it's not at Tuesday Morning! But if it is, I can deal. Assistance is needed in Aisle Three!
Kyle100991
Its going to be weird not seeing that big wooden monster looking down on everyone next year.
CedarPointer
You can see some of the demolition from Flight Deck's exit.
bkroz
You can see some of the demolition from Flight Deck's exit. Soon, there won't be a place in the park where you can't see the demolition!
DaveWorldEmperor
Seeing this at the park is so bittersweet. When its all said and done though, I think I'll come to for get him. Or at least I hope I will.
The Interpreter
If it was a coaster you loved, cherish your memories. Don't forget. And, there will be many, many others.

TheBEASTunchained
Maybe Kings Island will save some peice of the ride? They could put it out for show in one of the shops or something.....
The Interpreter
...more likely for Haunt. Lord knows it scared a lot of people.
VortexBFForever
The Skyline will never be the same again!! I know, that skyline will be pretty empty, at least in the time right after the demo is complete. Totally agree that Action Zone won't look the same as it used to be! well, changes are changes...
DaveWorldEmperor
I just do hope that some sort of major coaster goes in near there for 2014, so theres something there instead of an empty space in the skyline.
TheCrypt
Gee, I guess Action Zone won't be the same as it always was. 1999: Oh wait.
The Interpreter
As has been seen here recently, it was far more beautiful before. You can thank Ed Hart and Six Flags for Action Zone, for good or ill. It was a $35 million response to the flagging of Kentucky Kingdom. It worked, too. Mr. Story went on to focus on Geauga Lake vs. Cedar Point. We know how that ended.

Terp, from my understanding, WAH was in disrepair in the final years. You can thank Lindner, and partially Viacom for that.
