ohiocolts
http://www.kingsdominion.com/ On the 3rd bullet of KD's homepage, there is a rocket ship with the words "Breaking Records... Again! The countdown begins September 12". So, what could be coming to Kings Dominion? I'm quite curious as to what "record breaking" attraction could be put in, espicially now that it is a little late than usual for teasing a big new ride. So, what do you guys think? jdawg1998
Great job Kings Island keeping up with all the other amusement parks...
A.S.Coasters
Does it really matter? Kings Island has had a lot of **** to deal with lately, be patient.

ohiocolts
I'm thinking we will get something new next year, but proably not much.
jdawg1998
It's just that Kings Dominion got a top coaster in the speed and height category in 2010, and are apparently getting another one next year, while Kings Island got a non top coaster in 2009 and there's nothing to be announced for next year yet. I love Diamondback, but, it kind of sucks that our sister park has Intimidator 305 and might be getting something big next year too.
The Interpreter
Every park, every year? Really? Valleyfair? Michigan's Adventure? This ain't Six Flags.
A.S.Coasters
If it bothers you move to Virginia.

The Interpreter
If it bothers you move to Virginia. I just might. There's a Seaworld Park there, I hear! . No Six Flags, though. That's America.

It doesn't necessarily mean it's some massive coaster.
BB1
I suspect a new ride (roller coaster) that will be cloned at other FUN parks.
thekidd33
I suspect you those that are speculating that this is some massive ride are getting a bit ahead of themselves. Perhaps that rocket is blasting off to a planet full of peanuts.

I'm with you on that one, Just because it says record breaking doesn't always mean its a roller coaster. There are very many things it could be but the countdown to what it will be starts September 12.

jdawg1998
Maybe it's the longest space shuttle simulator!
The Interpreter
Maybe it's the first time in the park business a former Chairman and CEO's son gets to be general manager of a second park after his father retired.
flightoffear1996
Maybe it will be 6 dipping dots stands making it the most stands of one kind in any park
stashua123
Maybe the record for most launched coasters in a park(building a launched coaster). They got it in 2005 with the italian job(BLSC) but lost it by the removal of Hypersonic XLC. Let the speculation begin!

d-lo775
Maybe they will get a computer system that scans your Kings Island platinum pass without having to spend 20 minutes at guest relations. That would be a new record setting accomplishment for them. In my opinion, that would be out of this world, hence the rocket ship.
PKIVortex
My Kings Island Platinium Pass scanned just fine at KD, and so did my friends Cedar Point Platinium Pass. This was last October.

Funny how I had to wait 15 min at Knotts last month for them to figure out that my Kings Dominion pass was valid for the 2012 season but yet my home park is Kings Island. Kinda funny how it has a CF logo on it but the 2 Area Managers had never herd of Kings Dominion so now I have a Knotts Pass oy vey for a stupid little card!! BTW Just ask Terp about his Carowinds Adventure a year ago with is pass that was a funn day huh Terp oh wait you did 4 hours south to SFOG lol!! TTD-120-420
Disaster Transport is going to the scrap heap and that is the only place it is going. My guess is something with Planet Snoopy.
