SonofBaconator
I went to Busch Gardens Tampa and rode Shiekra. After we got off the ride they had multiple tvs that had me on the ride. Should KI do something similar?

Should KI do something similar? Yes, I think that it would be something new to try out at Kings Island and see how it goes. It might work and it might not but it sounds like an idea worth trying.
TheCrypt
If I am not mistaken, something similar was done on Flight of Fear one season. It was gone the next.
The Interpreter
You aren't mistaken. They were videos. And they sold very, very poorly. The fact that most of the video was stock footage and comparatively little was onride footage of rider reactions probably didn't help. I actually saw guests warning other guests not to waste their money.
TTD-120-420
Maverick and Raptor also tried a few seasons ago. They are no more.
IBEW_Sparky
I wish they would have had this on Dragster last year, to capture mine and Brad (Indyguy4KI)s first ever ride. I bought the pics, but a vid would have been epic, given our facial expressions in the photo LOL.
Guest TombraiderTy
I'd imagine video sales would do far better if the video was already in a format you could easily upload to facebook/YouTube (versus a DVD) and if the video was affordable. Getting off a ride, still on an adrenaline rush, I could foresee a lot of guests watching their video, laughing, and being willing to make an impulse purchase of a few dollars to email it to themselves. Somewhat unrelated, but I think it'd be a very cool feature if rides with on-ride photos/videos had the option to email it to yourself for only a couple dollars (and without needing to buy a package or combo first), and you could potentially even buy a season pass / ticket add-on which gave you unlimited on-ride photos/videos for the season/day. Just some day dreaming here though
