CoasterGeek101 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 So, many of you may think this crazy, but this is what I was doing INSTEAD of Kings Island on Closing Day. My mom said since I was previously sick all week, that going to Kings Island and riding roller coasters in 40 degree temperatures would only make it worse. I could go, but couldn't ride anything, so I didn't bother going. We were going to Cinci to visit my grandparents, but I said what the heck, why not stop at Dent Schoolhouse on the way. Here are some pictures showing the horror of the schoolhouse, taken with permission. A Full Trip Report can be found here: http://www.haunttour...choolhouse.html 7 Quote
fanofFirehawk Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 That looks pretty <del>intense<\del> (ahhhhhh why won't it work, just pretend that intense is crossed out) sick. I don't think I'll be going there for a few more years. Quote
SonofBaconator Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Id run the other direction and bust down the door if I had to and I wouldn't care if I got a refund or not. You are a brave man sir and I congradulate you. 5 Quote
CoasterGeek101 Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 It's not that scary people. Although, I didn't show you everything. 1 Quote

VortexBFForever Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 For me, a few of the pictures grossed me out. I was actually feeling a bit queasy when I finished reading the TR But that doesn't mean it wasn't interesting Quote

Voicetek Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Never really been into haunted houses. They're just not my thing! I think I'll stick with the Phantom Theater or Scooby Doo's Haunted Castle 1 Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 What about Boo Blasters On Boo Hill? Terp, who likes to ask questions Quote
Voicetek Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 What about Boo Blasters On Boo Hill? Terp, who likes to ask questions Nah that's ok. They can keep their Boo Blasters. I'd take Phantom Theater or Scooby any day over Boo Blasters. 1 Quote
TTD-120-420 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Wow, that looks awesome. The building alone is creepy. It kind of reminds me of American Horror Story. Quote
Delirium13 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Very cool photos, I live really close to the Dent Schoolhouse, but unfortunately wasn't able to make it there this year. During the nights it's open, from my deck I can hear the people screaming as they run out the exit, sounds like the screams are coming from the woods behind my house... kind of eerie. But the Schoolhouse is a great haunted house and the owners seem to put a lot of time and effort into it. I see them up there pretty consistently, just the other night I drove by and all the show effects were on. Anyways, thanks again for posting these, I've always wanted to go on a lights on tour of a haunted house! 1 Quote
CoasterGeek101 Posted November 29, 2012 Author Posted November 29, 2012 Sure thing! ^^ Yeah, the owner was nice enough to allow me to take these. It is a great haunt. 1 Quote
RingMaster Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 To answer the question posted on the other site about the validity of the clown portion in the house, it's your standard PTA carnival seen at many a school fundraiser. Tying in with the overall story of the Schoolhouse, the carnival is billed as a ruse to keep kids' minds off the string of disappearances plaguing the school itself. Of course, given the wicked, warped nature of the schoolhouse itself, the carnival has less friendly and more sinister clowns behind the game booths. Quote
Dvo Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Very cool review. I went to this haunt a few years ago and to this day it's the best single haunt I've ever been to. They really scared the crap out of me, haha. A lot of fun. I think I enjoyed Halloween Horror Nights better as a complete event, but this is definitely my favorite haunt. 2 Quote
CoasterGeek101 Posted November 30, 2012 Author Posted November 30, 2012 @RingMaster Okay, thanks for the info. It didn't make sense to me. Thanks Dvo! Quote
