XjoshhyX
Whatever you consider Lana Del Rey, Amy Winehouse, Daft Punk (especially their new album holy crap), Riff Raff, Tony Bennett, Fall Out Boy, Phoenix, blink-182, and Sleigh Bells to be is my music taste. I am a HUGE! Daft Punk fan. The big thing with the new album I like, is that its pure disco in reality. Its dance music still, but extremely disco inspired. There have been songs in the past though that they have written that are inspired that way, but not that heavily.
Merthecat
There should be a heavy metal choice. I would have chosen that.
Existential
I am a huge Phish fan. But I don't really like any other 'jambands'. I love improv but most of the jambands are noodling idiots. Aside from that I grew up on the Beatles and Led Zeppelin as they were my parents favorite bands when I was a child. My all time favorite artists are Tom Waits and Vince Guaraldi as I love folk and jazz [any freeform music]. Recently I have really loved the few releases of Neutral Milk Hotel and their rarities and an Icelandic band by the name of Mum. I was classically trained on viola since middle school and switched to bass after high school.

TheCrypt
Being that I came home from jazz camp (don't laugh) an hour ago, I've looked up a ton of Buddy Rich, Bird, and Sonny Rolland. Edit: Thought this was the what songs you're listening to thread. :/

Ride On_17
I'm not too picky. I like rock, alternative, indie, pop, and some rap. Sometimes even some electronic depending on what it is.
Ride On_17
On the topic of music, does anyone on here play SongPop? I find that game really fun and addicting. And if I must say, I'm pretty good at it
coasterfanatic83
I had my fun with SongPop but have stopped. I didn't lose often, but when I did it was usually to TTD-120-420 (not that I'm bitter or anything)

TeTe27
I enjoy mostly pop and R&B..preferably old school(70's/80's/ 90's) I do like however Dave Mathews Band, Rascal Flatts, Genesis, and some others that are outside the box. Never been big on rap music (other than old school run dmc, ll cool j, de la soul). I'll listen to about anything!
MidnightBeast
I like alternative, indie, and classic rock, metal including death metal and black metal, and industrial (like hard stompy industrial). Those are my mainstays, but I also like some hip hop, trance, bluegrass, old country, new wave, and psychedelic rock.
