So after the confirmation of the Haunt KIC day, that has really been making me think. What will we be doing, where will we go? What will we see? So this is the topic to share your thoughts on the KIC day and what you will like to see here, as well, are you going to go to KIC Day: Haunt?

Here are just some of my ideas:

• KIC ERT-Beast
• Behind the Scenes Tour of Coaster/Haunt/Construction Site (If there is clearance to enter)
• Day light walk through of a Haunt
• Fright Feast
• Haunt Fast Lane?

Now of course those are just loose ideas, (....and probably very expensive) they can be molded and I do hope that we can have a great KIC Day!

For those curious about this who didn't attend KIC Day, it was tentatively discussed to have the event on one of the first Saturdays of Haunt. Don mentioned lights-on tour(s) of maze(s) during the day. Plan early, you definitely won't want to miss it!

Speaking of the next event, we should also do something informal before summer ends.

Those sound like great ideas! I agree malem, we should come up with an informal event before summer ends, especially for those of us that missed out on KIC Day!

Thanks for the info malem, I guess my ideas are realistic after all. In all honesty i think a fright feast would be nice. This is how KIC days begin!

I did the Haunt Day with "the other site" back in 2008. It included ERT on Racer and FOF, walkbacks of beast and Diamondback construction plus lights on tours of two haunts and 3 front of the line passes for any haunt. Plus supper was provided in the International Street Restaurant. It was very fun and one of my favorite park trips to this day.

Tentatively speaking, a Fall event would not include ERT or lunch but would be free with a season pass.

Cool. Hopefully I can make this one. I work Saturdays but I typically take one off in the Fall to go to Haunt.

Last year I did one maze and that was enough for me. I promised I'd do more this year. I would probably attend another Haunt day if the date would work for me and I wouldn't have to do all the mazes..

The lights-on tours might help you with the mazes.

It will be a Saturday, so doing all of them without Fright Lane isn't likely.

Would you do Cavern of Terror if we bribe you?

Seriously, though, sometimes you need to step outside your comfort zone and test your limits. Once you do Cavern of Terror, you'll know you can do any other maze. It's analogous to walking into the park during the summer, having never visited an amusement park or ridden an amusement ride of any kind before, and going straight to Diamondback, knowing that you'll be scared to death on it the first time around but also knowing that if you can survive that one, you'll be fine on everything else in the park and be able to enjoy your day better.

I strongly encourage you to give Cavern of Terror a shot. It's well worth the time. If nothing else, you'll be able to have fun scaring your friends with tales about it the next week at school.

If being startled is what you're afraid of, you may have already done the "worst" (or "best") Haunt there with Tombstone Terror-tory.
