Which will be more popular?

Recommended Posts

Not to sound greedy or anything but if people are turned away by Delirium that means it's just more rides for the people that do like it. Your right Scooby is for all ages but do you really think grown ups that may come to the park on the weekends are going to go into Hanna Barbara land and ride Scooby Doo? I doubt it! biggrin.gif

Like so many other people, I think that Scooby Doo & the Haunted Castle will be more popular than Delirium because Scooby Doo will attract adult thrill seekers who grew up with Scooby Doo, small children and their parents, teenagers, people who just ate lunch and need to digest, pregant ladies who can't get on 99% of the rides at PKI, etc. Scooby Doo will attract people from all demographic segments.

However, Delirium will only appeal to thrill seekers and super fans of PKI who want to ride every ride at the park.

That's my opinion anyway.

OK I'm saying this because I HAVE been next to Delirium and I love thrill rides and I will ride Delirium but It makes me nervous just looking at it, there will be kids who will ride it but Im telling you it's not a very kind looking ride it's VERY intimidating, it will be fun and I will ride it Im just saying it's SCARY looking! ph34r.gif

I think that it will probably be Scooby. Like has been said before, this ride attracts people of all demographics, not just thrill seekers. On top of that though, I feel that Scooby reinforces the fact that PKI indeed does have the best kids area in the world (I believe that PKI got the Golden Ticket award for best kids area for the last two years). The fact that the ride, coupled with the many other wonderful children's rides, will make Scooby the better draw for the park.

Pure speculation however... but it sure is fun to do so.

I also think Scooby will be more popular. There are alot of people that go to PKI and dont like big rides. Personally, I will head for Delirium first because I am more of a thrill seeker. Scooby will be in the first 5 rides I ride.

Scooby will definetly be more popular on the number of different people that ride (maybe not in rerides of the same people). It will attract people of all ages. We will have the rednecks because you are basically giving them a gun to shoot stuff with, siblings because of sibling rivelry, little kids because of scooby, teens cause they can brag to their friends how much better they did and the likes....

Now the amount of riders the two rides sees may be the same or one may be hirer than the other, but Delirium will most likely only win on that case by having the same (say 1000) people ride it over and over again. While scooby, I don't know how many people will hop right back in line to reride, but might try again later in the day.

Wow, I was thinking that but I didn't say that, but how true it is, that demographic is definitely abundant at the park, and in what I have seen over the last two years, almost more than every other demographic. I do get a laugh out of reading that, after having so many experiences with people of this demographic. Quite funny, really... laugh.gif

Statistically, I think more people will definitely ride Scooby as compared to Delirium. I woudl bet it might be as high as 3 or 4 to 1, maybe even higher. Scooby, is a family ride for people of all ages, while Delirium will only appeal to the thrill seekers out there, thus eliminating part of the visiting population, who do not like thrill rides.
