I hope they are both going to be fun and exciting, or I hope so! Well only time will tell. I still think I am going to like Delirium a little tiny bit better than Scooby because I am a hard core thrill seeker and I really want a thrill! How about you? Quote
Tanner Posted April 10, 2003 Posted April 10, 2003 After riding both of the rides today at Media Day. I'd have to say Delirium was the better of the two. I thought the interactive part of Scooby was great and all, but it didn't give me what I expected it to give me. Delirium went beyond what I had expected it to give. The forces on Delirium are absolutely amazing. Quote

And, what I think they are trying to accomplish by asking which one was better is: "which new ride for this year was better" , would be more suiting. So , its acutally NOT comparing apples and oranges, quite the opposite in fact. They just want to konw whcih ride this year you liked better, because they were both heavily promoted and hyped. Just my opinion, dont mean to talk smack about anyone, but i just cannot stand kiddie rides anymore.... thrill rides for me. The only times I will ride scooby is to cool off after a long day of coasters and thrill rides. Quote

matt3224 Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 Well i was working Scooby this whole past weekend and the amount of teens and adults who liked it was just as much as the kids. Kids like it cause it is scooby and they get guns....sorry.... (Fright Light Flash Lights). And the teens and adults just love the competitiveness of it. I saw many people coming on over and over each time they said they were trying to beat their score. And when they get off the first thing they do is see what their friends got on the ride to see who won... I think it is a GREAT ride for anyone!~ Quote

Dane Posted April 16, 2003 Posted April 16, 2003 Matt2334 hit the nail on the head. I like the competivness of it. Also it lets me get ahold of another gun. I could see how a little kid would love it for its use of Blasters. My brother and I are very competive with shooting, thats why we play PAINTBALL! Quote
