Green track for a giga. Why does THAT sound familiar? Big Terpy...

I can only imagine the level of precision involved when working with two cranes that size. Hats off to those that construct the thrills we all enjoy.

I know its probably the angle of the camera screwing perspective up, but the track looks like it'll be to short to get to the next support.

Can't wait to see this sucker topped off!

Funny, from that angle, it doesn't look like the top of lift will be 325'.

Just a thought, from someone who secretly wishes it was going to be taller.

Even in the Carolinas, cranes bend down in their continuous search of pennies. :P

It has been an interesting day for watching Fury325 construction as the tallest support column section is currently being installed which means that Monday or Tuesday, the coaster may very well be topped off at its peak height of 325 ft.

A tension cord has now been put into place on the current support column being worked on for extra support as the crews work into the evening.

More pieces to this column are currently being brought quickly to the site in what looks like an effort to be able to finish early tomorrow morning / Monday morning.

EDIT: The font above the photo should be more eye-friendly now, Thanks for letting me know!

Not very readable text in that color, chap!

EDIT: Much better, but still a plain black is far more readable on a less than gigantic phone.

Hubby and I just drove by CSF again and saw two track pieces for Fury 325 on a truck. Didn't get any photos because I would have had to trespass in order to get any photos. He's driving so I was able to turn around and see the track pieces :)

Wow! Nice progress today!

I didn't watch the cams at all because generally construction crews have Sunday off, or at least, when building coasters, it seems that they always do.

The time schedule for Fury 325 erection must be very strict.

The time schedule for Fury 325 erection must be very strict.

With the rate its going up, it feels like they'll be finishing really, really close to when it is supposed to open, especially considering how much track they still have left.

I found this video on youtube and I thought it was a cool interview. It is short but it has Mike Fehnel from Carowinds kind of explain the difference of the two rides and other things. Some of you may have seen it or may have already known the difference but I just wanted to share. (Video made by Brian Mitchell . I inculuded his channel link which you can access by clicking his name.)

Also it seem that there wasn't a lot of work done today on fury 325. I think those workers deserved a day off :) (But it did look like they started to prepare for finishing off the lift hill. (Image from Carowinds' Webcams)

Man, that hill looks awesome. For sure will be taking a trip down there next year.

Due to inclement weather yesterday, according to Mike Fehnel, the topping off of Fury325 was delayed until today.

Today the ride should be topped off somewhere between 9:00 and 10:00.

Stay Tuned!

325 ft.......
