FRIDAY NIGHT THROWBACK - Santa's Toy Factory, Winterfest 2005

***Worth Watching***

Check out this excellent video of "Santa's Toy Factory," the premier show for the short-lived revitalization of Winterfest at (Paramount's) Kings Island. Defninitely one of the best shows in Kings Island history.

Can this be a "thing?" Every Friday, you hunt down a throwback video and share it with us? I'd love to see more of this. Thanks for sharing!

I did it for a while on KIC's Facebook during the offseason. Typically, if I come across a video - especially one I've really wanted to see like this - I'll get it out to the masses. I have wonderfully fond memories of this show. It's a shame that no one was really there to see it...

For real. I'd set it on the shelf next to any Disney show. I'm not kidding. They'd find a way to have more of a "wow" factor, I imagine, but the thing I like about Disney shows for the most part is that they actually go somewhere and try to convey a message... as does this one.

I saw it at Carowinds. For very personal reasons, Kings Island's Winterfest wasn't somewhere I could go in 2005 (besides, there was always next year, right?). So, I did the next best thing and went to the one at Carowinds. It was surreal.

Paramount definitely had more big budget production type shows, which in turn, made them better shows.

I was very disappointed with rock and roll never forgets, almost embarrassed.

Toy factory continues to be my favorite show I have seen at Kings Island.
